after wandering into the mountain where sakonji urokodaki trains his students in the ever-beautiful water breathing technique, sayuri trains amongst two of her closest friends. she goes through final selection, she kills enough demons, she loses so many people. sayuri is tired of losing. she's determined to do something, anything, to protect the ones she loves so dearly.
when news of a boy and his demon sister reaches her and her fellow hashira, it seems there may be an end in sight.
now, she must survive long enough to witness it.
