As you walk over to their table you notice that there's only a seat open next to Jean, so you take it. It's also conveniently across from Eren.
"Hi (y/n)" says Jean
"Hi Jean" I reply
I can feel Erens eyes on me
My hand is rested on the table as Jean brings up his hand and places it on top of mine. I giggle quietly as he fidgets with my fingers.
Now you don't care for Jean that much... but he is really attractive and he's interested in you unlike Eren
"So how has your day been," Jean said looking over to you with a smile
"mmm it's been pretty good I'd say, now that you're here," you said returning his smile
You were so into the moment with Jean that you had completely forgotten that you were at a table with 5 other people. Connie and Sasha were goofing off, making weird food combinations. While Armin was talking to the black-haired girl about the ocean or something and finally, Eren was staring directly at us, pissed.
"What the fuck Jean, what did I tell you about the rules?" Eren said sounding displeased
what rules?
Suddenly the whole table got quiet and everyone's attention got brought to us
"Eren we were just having a simple conversation, and even if we weren't how do you expect me to behave with her sitting all pretty next to me," said Jean
You couldn't help but blush at Jean's comment, it made you all squirmy inside and you were starting to warm up to Jean
Erens POV
Eren saw her walking over to our table,
Shit
He realized there was only a seat next to Jean and he tried to quickly think of a plan, but you had already sat down
"Hi (y/n)" says Jean
"Hi Jean" You reply
Eren stared directly at you as you greeted Jean. He tried to think positively, that Jean was only being friendly towards you
But that changed quickly as soon as Jean brings up his hand and places it on top of yours, you start to giggle quietly as he fidgets with your fingers.
Eren wants to strangle him.
Eren was so pissed off, the one thing he'd ask of Jean he did. This is exactly why he didn't even want to introduce you to him in the first place.
"So how has your day been," Jean said looking over to you with a smile

That was enough for Eren, he had to say something.
"What the fuck Jean, what did I tell you about the rules?" Eren said sounding displeased
Suddenly the whole table got quiet and everyone's attention got brought to us
"Eren we were just having a simple conversation, and even if we weren't how do you expect me to behave with her sitting all pretty next to me," said Jean
Eren looked over to you and saw your cheeks flushed with red pigment, and again it made him infuriated that someone other than him had that effect on you. Eren couldn't pinpoint the feelings he was having exactly he just knew he was annoyed at Jean's actions.
