Preston POV

It was morning, I woke up happy knowing that I'm officially a father now, I looked around and saw Bri sleeping peacefully so as Jasmine. Today we are leaving the hospital, but technically we spent one night so it isn't that long. I got to the little crib and took Jasmine in my arms and sat down with her on the couch where I slept "Daddy loves you" I said quietly to Jasmine as she was laying on me. After fifteen minutes I saw Bri waking up so I put Jasmine next to her
"Good morning buetiful" I said quietly to Bri, kissing her head and received a smile. Brianna got up and got dressed
"Do you want to dress Jasmine or..?" I asked Bri
"Well sure" as she was dressing Jasmine we talked
"Bri i have an idea"
"What is it?"
"Since Jasmine has a pretty long name, maybe some time we can call her Jass?"
"I like that idea" Brianna said
"I thought you'll like it" with that Bri finished dressing Jasmine and it was time to go. We left the hospital and we were getting in the car.

Brianna POV:

We got in the car and Jasmine is in the carrier sleeping
"Preston I think we should go to see our parents, I mean they still didn't meet Jasmine" I said
"Yeah we should" then Preston started to drive to my parents house.

*time skip when they got to Bri's parents house*

Brianna POV:

We got to my parents house and knocked on the door, we didn't tell them that we are coming because we wanted it to be a surprise. Preston was holding the baby carrier which inside was Jass
"Coming!" I could hear my mom yell from inside, as she opened the door she was surprised and called my dad over
"What are you guys doing here?" My mom asked
"Well me and the baby were feeling good so we didn't have to stay"
"That's nice, so the baby's here?" My dad asked
"Yes, here she is" Preston said while getting her out of the carrier
"I think you should sit down" I said
"Why?" My mom asked nervously
"Because you will get cuteness overload, duh" Preston said jokingly, we all laughed and my parents sat down
"Here you go" Preston said handing Jass to them
"Oh my God, she looks beautiful" my dad said
"She is gorgeous" when my mom said that Jasmine yawned and opened her eyes showing her buetiful dimond blue eyes, making a cute newborn sound, it was the cutest thing ever
"Oh wow her eyes are buetiful!" My dad said
"She is so mixed" my mom said
"Yes we know" i said sitting next to her

*time skip couple minutes later*

Brianna POV:

I was laying in my parents room breastfeeding Jasmine than I heard and saw
"Are you excited to be a father?" My dad asked Preston
"Well ofcourse I am" Preston said a bit nervous, I was looking at them than my mom said
"I'm proud of you baby B"
"Thank you mom, but now I'm pretty sure I'm not the baby here" I said looking at Jass
"Oh yeah, baby J" my mom said petting Jasmine on her head.

Preston POV:

I talked to Bri's father a bit, he was telling me about how life will be as a father of a girl
"One day she will marry someone and you need to let her go" he told me
"I know but why are you telling this to me now?" I asked confused
"I mean she's one day old" I continued
"I know but time will fly by and next thing you know she's has a daughter" I amidietly noticed that he meant Brianna
"But I'm still not ready"
"The world doesn't care if you're ready or not, it just happens" he told me I was looking at the ground
"Preston it doesn't matter if you're not ready now, you will never be ready, but she is still one day old so enjoy it" those felt like the most wise words I ever heard
"Thank you"
"It's nothing just looking out for you"
