After a couple of hours, Camilo knocked on his own door. He found y/n dressed beautifully reading a book.
"You ready for our date, princesa?" "Si mi amor!"
He was wearing a loose polo shirt, with black pants, a pair of elegant shoes and he had his hair smoother than ever, and y/n could see the pink in his cheeks while he handed her some sunflowers and daisies.
"You look amazing..." Camilo said, as he was glancing at her from top to bottom, admiring the floral dress that the madrigal girls had picked for her. It had pink flowers sewed to the white fabric of the dress, it was as light as cotton candy. She had her fluffy hair loose and she was wearing a simple pearl necklace. Author's note: I forgot to add a pic of what her clothes look like I'm sorry 😭 (It's not golden jewellery anymore I'm sorry but I couldn't find a decent golden necklace online)

Camilo couldn't believe his eyes. Since when did she learn to dress like that?
They both just stared at each other and then Camilo held out his hand to her, they touched and then immediately even blushed harder. They went downstairs where Mirabel, Dolores, Luisa, Isabela, and surprisingly Antonio were waiting for them.
"YOU TWO LOOK SO GOOD!!" Isabela screamed at the top of their lungs, and Antonio said: "I know you like y/n. I know that she's the one. Here, have this. For the nerves" he then handed Camilo his pet tiger and Camilo smiled and ruffled his hair.
They went out and started walking towards a lovely restaurant where as soon as they arrived, the waiters quickly gave them a warm welcome.
They brought them to a table at the balcony where the stars kept shining, as bright as their first hangout. Camilo and Y/n started having funny conversations on how they met.
"I can't believe you're so understanding. Like you understand the struggles I had and embraced me in your arms so kindly that I don't know how to thank you... I always thought that if anyone would've found out they would've thought that I was a menace..."
"Don't say that. You're the prettiest and funniest girl I've ever seen, and I'll always stay by your side! You're not alone in this anymore"
He then gently reached out her hand and kissed her on the cheek. She felt butterflies in her stomach and just smiled. The food then arrived and they talked a bit more. At one point Y/n even choked on her food because of the embarrassing story Camilo was telling her. They were having the absolute best time together.
Later on, Camilo paid for the food, even if Y/n insisted on paying. They walked out and then y/n complained about her feet hurting, so the shapeshifter gave her a piggy back ride.
"Where are we going?" asked y/n. "You'll see" While she was on his back, she couldn't stop playing with his hair.
"Y/n" "What is it?"
Camilo turned around and then just melted in her eyes. He then gently reached for her lips and get her a short, cute kiss on the lips. Y/n, shocked, even if they did that before fell on the ground, breathing really heavily.
"That's what you get for strangling me and playing with my hair!"
"Those strands of hair are the softest things I've ever touched!" She laughed and Camilo picked her up, this time, with his arms.
"You're not tired at all from carrying me, are you?"
"Nope, could do this all day along! At least like this I can get a better view of you!" He winked and started walking again. He walked towards a hill and then she put her on the ground.
"Tag! You're it!" He said, and started running away from y/n.
"We're not kids!" "Come on it's fun" "Fine! Start running faster then, chameleon!" She started chasing him and then they ended up bumping into each other, and they rolled down the hill together. They started laughing and laughing and then they eventually got up. Camilo then grabbed her wrist and brought her to the bench that was a few steps away from them.
They sat down and admired the delicate, relaxing scent of the river. It was all quiet for a few seconds. Camilo then scooched over (idk how to write scooch") and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Y/n looked down, flustered from his move and placed her head on his shoulder. Camilo then pushed back y/n's hair behind her ear and he started moving closer. Y/n placed her arms around Camilo's neck and they kissed. A passionate, long, kiss. They felt The glistening starlight of the moon throwing rays of moonlight at them.
After that smooch, y/n whispered in Camilo's ear something that made him sweat like a boiling pot and shapeshift into everyone he knew.
"I love you cami."
They sat there for a while, just holding each other closely. Camilo then wet his fingers by the river and splashed some drops of water at y/n. She giggled and they both laughed for a bit.
They then decided that it was time to head back, so of course Camilo carried his princess back to casita.
He walked upstairs and placed y/n on a bed made for two people. They turned around and changed into their PJs. Camilo kissed Antonio's tiger toy that he had gave him and placed it on his shelf.
Y/n snuggled against him and they cuddled each other to sleep.
The most magical night that they'd just spent together was for both of them an indescribable experience, and they both couldn't wait to have even more dates like the one they had tonight in the future.
Author's note: I'm truly sorry for disappearing for so long. I've been really busy with school tests and my mental health just went blop. I hope y'all will understand.
