Gwi-Nam fell and turned his head to look at her as she raised the sledgehammer again, he looked away braced for impact until he heard a thump and something heavy falling. He turned to look where Eun-Ji was only seeing Cheong-San breathing heavily and putting his hands on his knees with the pipe in front of his shoes
"What the fuck? Did you hit her with that?" Gwi-Nam looked at his leg and got up, no really using the injured leg "No, a ghost saved you. Of course I did, who else would've." Cheong-San stood up normally and picked the pipe up "Oh shut up." Gwi-Nam rolled his eyes and started walking away with a limp "Hold on, wait, where are you going?" Cheong-San walked behind Gwi-Nam "Somewhere, you really shouldn't care after what I did." The limping boy walked into the nurses office and sat down in a chair
"What'd you do?" Cheong-San sat the pipe down and stood in front of Gwi-Nam, looking down at him "Oh, you don't know. I pushed the girl out of the window." Gwi-Nam looked up at Cheong-San who was looking confused "Your friend?" Cheong-San instantly remembered "Why did you push her, she did nothing to you." He was upset, he didn't really talk to her but it hurt him that she died "You wouldn't know, you were sleep. But yeah, she didn't. She was questioning and worrying about something that didn't even involve her."
"That's still not right!" Cheong-San balled his fists up out of anger "I mean, you didn't even know who I was talking about. You probably forgot she even existed, there's no way you cared." Gwi-Nam started looking at his nails, observing the blood on them and the rest of his hand "..." Cheong-San looked away from Gwi-Nam "Exactly. You didn't, stop acting like the good guy. You're not, we're not in some fairy tale where you save everyone. This is reality, wake up." Gwi-Nam stopped looking at his nails and leaned over to see Cheong-San's face
"I know that, but there's nothing wrong with trying to do something good before I die." Cheong-San wiped his face and looked at Gwi-Nam "Who said you'll die soon? By the rate you're going at, I think you'll make it, IF I don't kill you." Gwi-Nam said and quickly turned, hearing footsteps.
He kept looking until he could see the figure to where he could recognize who it was. Cheong-San was confused, but soon Gwi-Nam realized who it was.
(Who will it be? I wonder. I really need to stop wasting breaks on this tbh.)
