the Missing Light

CHAPTER 4

The bell rang signaling it is time for recess

Cahaya quickly left the room and went to the bathroom, he made sure that no one was there and then he hurriedly open the faucet washing his face as if trying to wake himself up

He looked at the mirror, he still couldn't believe what was happening, he was back in the past!

He shook his head, he needs to keep it together, one wrong move and everything will fail

Cahaya tried to stop the tears in his eyes, seeing them again, being able to touch them was a dream that cahaya didn't think would come true

But inside cahaya was a little bit afraid, how can he face earth? After what happened, how can he look at api the same again! And lightning...

He and thunderstorm had a fall out before the mission, he should have kept his mouth shut! He should have listened to him, maybe...maybe then they would have succeeded

Cahaya wants to apologize to him but the pride inside him makes cahaya more angry not only at lightning but to himself!

How can he let his pride win at a time like this, his thoughts and self blame were interrupted when the door opened

A guy walked in and went to one of the bathroom stalls, cahaya quickly left the room after that

As he was running he starts to slow down and he didn't even notice he ended up in the cafeteria, where everyone is

He was about to leave when someone called out to him

"Cahaya!" He froze when daun called out to him, he turn around to see his siblings and the gang in the same table, daun was waving at him trying to get his attention, cyclone who was beside daun was also calling out for him

Cahaya now didn't have a choice he can't just ignore them now! He slowly walked over the table making everyone look at him

"Hey cahaya" yaya and ying said smiling at their fellow honor student

"Come and seat down cahaya" daun said and cahaya realized that the only empty seat there was left was beside lightning

He forgot that he used to seat besides lightning when he was still at school

Light froze, should he? After what happened to him and thunderstorm? How can he act so comfortably to lightning.

Lightning stopped eating when he realized that cahaya wasn't seating besides him like he usually do, he looked at cahaya confused

Realizing everyone was now looking at him, cahaya smiled Sitting besides lightning who looked at him with a raised eyebrow

Unknown to cahaya, the gang noticed his strange behavior and has talked about it before he came

Flashback

"What are you thinking about earth?" Yaya asked as she noticed the earth elemental playing with his food

"Huh? Ohh it's nothing" earth said dismissively

"Your thinking about cahaya aren't you?" Water said making the gang confused as earth sighed and nodded

"Why? What's wrong with cahaya?" Fang asked

"He's been acting strange lately" earth said he faced yaya and ying "yaya,ying you take a class with cahaya right? Don't you notice anything different about him"

"Well, he was really quiet in class which is unusual, he didn't even talk to us" yaya said and ying nodded

"Yeah, it seems like he was avoiding us, everytime we make eye contact he looks away" ying said making the gang look at each other
