Chapter 6

Ryujin sneak in the class while the teacher was busy writing formulas on the board. She sat down beside Lia who was so focused on jolting down her notes. Lia noticed her presence and frowned at her.

"Dude, I thought you wanted to change for the better. Why'd you skip class?"

Ryujin smiled apologetically as she rubbed the back of her neck. She replied,

"I know....but you do know that old habits die hard, right? don't worry...I always keep my word."

Lia glanced at Chaeryeong in a way that seemed opposite on how she'd say that the latter is annoying. Ryujin grinned then leaned closer to Lia side. She asked in a hushed tone,

"She's beautiful, right?"

Lia find herself nodding slowly. Ryujin smirked as she said,

"Gotcha! You're attracted to your hot nemesis." Lia replied in a quick yet loud tone,

"No, I'm not!"

Everyone in class looked at their direction making Lia blush in embarrassment. The teacher gave her a warning look making her smile apologetically. As she sat on her chair, she kicked Ryujin foot under the table seeing how Ryujin snickered at her flustered reaction. Ryujin said while wiggling her eyebrow,

"Don't worry, Lia. I won't tell her. Besides, I had a feeling that you'd eventually like her."

Ryujin then glanced at Yeji direction feeling her lips curved into a smile. Lia looked at where Ryujin was looking. She saw Chaeryeong talking to Yeji then giggled afterwards.

"By the way, Ryu...do you...still like her?"

Lia asked as she carefully looked at Ryujin expression. Ryujin shrugged as she replied,

"I don't know. I don't wanna ruin our friendship so I'll love her like how a good best friend should."

When the bell rang for their lunch break, Chaewon peered into their class. She called the two then said excitedly,

"Yo! let's have a drink tonight at my house."

Lia crossed her arms as she squints her eyes at Chaewon. She asked,

"What about your parents?"

Chaewon leaned her back at the wall then replied smugly,

"Don't worry about it. They're staying over at my grandparents place."

Ryujin was a bit distracted as she looked at Yeji. She called her attention while grinning,

"Yeddeong!"

Yeji looked at her as her eyebrow raised. Ryujin asked a question,

"What did the volcano say to its true love?"

Yeji pursed her lips trying to stop herself from smiling at Ryujin question. Chaeryeong nudged her while giggling. Yeji replied,

"What?"

Ryujin smiled cheekily making her smile form a heart shape which is Yeji personal favorite. Ryujin blew a kiss at her direction then answered,

"I lava you"

Yeji felt her face turning red even if she finds it very cheesy. She looked away while replying in a casual manner to make it seem as if she wasn't flustered,

"Nice joke, Ryujin."

Chaeryeong laughed at her reaction then told Ryujin,

"She likes it, Ryu. You made her look like a flustered tomato."
