august 27, the day all hell went loose, also known as my birthday, today was august 27 and honestly i usually didnt like spending my birthday especially if it was an extravagant eat out or something, i just wanted things simple, spending the day with people i loved

apparently that wouldnt happen today, it was early morning well around 11 when i woke up, and ollie was no whee to be seen i assumed he was in the kitchen cooking up something maybe or playing with shadow, but there was nothing

I assumed the best and thought maybe he just went to pick something up so I got up made simple breakfast which was just egg and took shadow to watch with me on the couch

I decided on watching the amazing spider man, it was my favorite out of all so I clicked on it watching it just letting time pass by

4 movies later Ollie still hasn't came back, did he really forget my birthday... I thought we'd hang out together today but all I did was worry wondering where he might be

I ended up texting asking where he went I didn't get a respond which was weird because he would usually always respond maybe his phone just died.. yea

I decided to bake myself cupcakes since I had no one with me my brother went somewhere I wasn't sure when he'd come back but he did message me a while ago greeting me

finally, an hour later he came through the door looking tired and stressed out about something

"you're late" I say with a calm soft voice knowing any booming sounds can cause him to shout really loud

"I know had to deal with things ok I'm sorry" he snapped tears brimmed in my eyes, maybe if I had reminded him he wouldnt have forgotten maybe it was my fault

he then looked up seeing me on the verge of tears and it looked like something sparked in his mind, my birthday that he had forgotten about

"I'm- I'm sorry love I totally forgot I'll-" I cut him off "I thought I was someone important to you, but maybe I was an idiot because it's clear I'm the last thing on your mind" I softly spoke

"I'm sorry please" I just walked past him grabbing a pair of clothes and walking out the door going to my brothers hoping he was home already

"hey can I stay here for a while" I asked as m brother opened the door tears stained on my face "yea su- why're you crying?" he embraced me in a hug as I explained to him
as he comforted me the whole night
