Chapter 8

Anne's POV

I woke up and went out the cabin deck and went over to the wooden railing and looked in the water then I looked up at Hop Pop he was stirring the boat "Morning Anne I'm trying to find Sasha don't worry" he said "Ok good" I said I looked back across the water after a few minutes I saw a boat in the distance "Hey Hop Pop" I said "Yeah I see it" he said we sailed right up to it I knew it the boat belonged to Sasha she didn't see me come up nor hear me step on her boat I had my arms crossed "So this is what you're doing to find the mermaid" I said she heard me that time and turned around "Anne and I guess yes do you have a problem that" she asked "Yes I do you are going to hurt the fish and other creatures that live in the sea" I said "You know the net isn't big enough to catch fish and other creatures just the mermaid" she said "Still it could hurt them don't make me fight you to stop you" I asked "I don't know do you want me to fight you" she asked "Yes if I win you stop using the net to try to find the mermaid if you win you can keep using the net and I'll get out of your hair" I said "Ok deal" she said drawing one of her swords I drew mine and ran at her she moved quickly and I went over the boat I popped my head up "Haha that wasn't much fun I thought you would put up more of a fight" she said I growled at her for a minute then I felt something push me out of the water I flew in the air and landed it behind Sasha "You were saying" I asked her "How did you do that" she asked "Well I guess I'm better than you" I said "Argh no you're not" she said running towards me she slashed at me I blocked and we stayed there clashing our swords for awhile I did swing over and knocked Sasha's sword out of her hand it landed on the floor I pointed my sword towards her face she put her hands up like she was surrendering then she smiled and reached for her other sword she hit my sword and knocked it out of my hand she slashed at me but I rolled out of the way and grabbed my sword that was on the floor and ran towards her I slashed down Sasha blocked it I pushed her to the wooden railing and pushed off of her sword she went over and landed in the water but got back on quickly she jumped off the woodern railing and slashed at me I blocked it but fell back and landed on the floor I got up and slashed at her she blocked it I slashed again this time she did block it but fell back and landed on the floor from my strength I walked over to her and pointed my sword at her she stood up I still had my sword on her she dropped her sword "You win" she said "I do" I asked "Yeah I guess I have some other thing I need to do take the net away I don't care and I never did" she said walking away I put my sword away and walked over to the net what I didn't notice was Sasha got her sword from when I knocked it out of her hand earlier and she sweeped my feet so I would fall I fell on the ground and Sasha pointed her sword at my throut "Do it you know I'm not scared to die by the likes of you" I said she put her sword away I got up "Percy, Braddok" she shouted "Yes captain" both of them asked "Get this garbage off my boat" she shouted pointing at me "Yes captain Sasha" they both said they came over to me I turned around I kicked Percy in the gut but Braddok got me "What do you want me to do with Amne now captain Sasha" she asked "Just anything throw her off the boat into the water I don't care" Sasha said "Ok" Braddok said Percy came over they pushed me angainst the wooden railing and tied my hands then pushed me over I fell in the water I couldn't swim my hands were tied I was beginning to lose my breath then I saw something in the distance it untied the rope around my hands helping me swim back up I did I was coughing for air Sasha saw this "I thought you told me you got rid of her" she said "Sorry captain Sasha we'll try to do our best next time" Percy said "Good" she said then she jumped from the steps to me "Well Anne looks like you lost how does it feel" she asked kneeling down to me "I don't know how does it feel Sasha" I said I spashed some water in her eyes "Argh you little rat" she said standing up and backing up I got up to the boat and pulled out my sword Sasha wipped the water away and pulled out her sword and ran towards me I ducked and threw her off the boat she got back up but I pointed my sword at her "Give it up Sasha you can't win a losing battle" I said "You're right I can't go ahead get rid of that net" she said I walked over to the net keeping my eyes on her I grabbed it and pulled it up to the boat and threw it to mine "There now let's finish this" I said "Yeah let's" she said we ran towards each other we clashed our swords together and stayed there for awhile then I slashed down and broke our clashing then kicked her down I pointing my sword at her "Go ahead kill me" she said "No I won't I know I should just kill you that will make it easier for me to find the mermaid but no I won't" I said putting my sword away she stood up and saw a scroll in my pocket about to fall out she went to grab it but I pulled out my sword and put it near her arm "Touch that and you're dead I won't hisatetied" I said she pulled away and walked away and picked up her swords and put them away then I called over Hop Pop he made it to me I step onto the boat and we sailed away maybe I was a little violent but I had to be a little violent she was going for the scroll I couldn't let her get it I went into the cabin deck and layed down.

Sasha's POV

"Argh what was that in Anne's pocket" I said angerily to myelf "I don't know captain" Percy said "Maybe it helped her find me and maybe it's given her power earlier I moved away from her running at me she fell in the water something or some force pushed her out of the water and she got out of the water after you two tied her hands with a rope the scroll has the answer I'm sure of it" I said to myself "Yeah that was werid" Percy said "Look Percy I don't want to be mean to you but can you let me speak to myself for just a minute" I shouted at him he nodded "Good" I said I kept talking to myself until night came I had to get that scroll Anne had it had to have something in it maybe power or something like that I layed down in my captain's deck and went to sleep.
