She swung around and a gasp escaped her lips; her little sister sat, defeat lining her visage. Her eyes puffy and swollen, a knife positioned above her wrist. Upon meeting Shillan's gaze, her hand wavered, the horror and disappointment that glittered in her eyes were enough for Zahaa to loosen her hold on the blade, letting it fall with a clutter to the floor. Shillan hurried to comfort Zahaa, clasping her arms tightly around the now still frame of her sister. Suddenly, Zahaa's body began to shake violently, she buried her head in Shillan's bosom, wanting nothing more than for the death angel to pay her a visit. Life,it seemed never got enough of seeing her in affliction, it never seemed to tire of causing agony to both Shillan and herself.
'When will this stop?', she whispered to her sister. A single tear rolled down Shillan's cheek

This story is about Shillan and her sister, a story that speaks for legions of women, it is a story of those who go through the unspeakable. A story that will burst your bubble of the world being an impeccable place and help you acknowledge the life you have been granted, for there are those in a worse plight. A work that delves deeper into the horrors of begging; an awakening that opens your eyes into the lives of those less fortunate, taking refuge in rags, extending outstretched hands in want of anything that might fill them,
to obtain salvation. This story will explore the basis of the establishment of beggars as young as children aged five to as old as sixty. What really is the cause? However, the main focus will be women as victims.

This story is reserved for those who want to read a piece that helps them understand society and how women are berated, a story that gives a true insight into the hardships that many go through. All I can promise you is; this story will actually mean something, meaning it has a strong plot. So, hopefully, it will turn out to have the depth that we, as readers crave.
