"Shut the fuck up." Jennie said, clenching her teeth while Lisa cried and wailed in the corner.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I really am." came Lisa voice through muffled sobs. "Please. I'm sorry."

"This. Again." Jennie thought to herself. "What have I done to deserve this aching pain in my head. These sharp and piercing cries now feel like empty noise. Everyday. It's the same story over and over again."

"Enough," Jennie screamed. "I've had enough."

She turned to look at Lisa crouched, tears dried up on her cheek, eyes puffy and a face broke with sorrow. Her face grew red with anger at the sight of Lisa. Jennie couldn't hold it in any longer.

"I get it. Your parents died. But it's been a week. Stop being a pussy and get to work."

"Yes...yes," Lisa said, slowly picking herself up with all her might.

"I should go. I have to go. I'll go."

Lisa washed her face. She dressed, in her crisp suit. She straightened her tie. She now looked like the woman of her dreams and said with authority,

"Make sure dinner is ready when I get back."

"Yes," Jennie said, her face blushing and her soul smiling at the sight of Lisa.

"I love you."

"I love you."

And so Lisa stepped out into the world, wearing her mask.
