Chapter4:More Time

"Yeah about that......"

Cole looked around the the building and sees records  and some awards plastered around the wall. He did a lot of research on Gustavo because he heard a lot of stories about him that he was controlling and other things even though Cole senses that Gustavo gave him a bad vibe.

In June, he was supposed to visit another record company that he was rumored to be in but that never happened because he end up not going due to the fact that he was in the hospital for overdosing on drugs for a headache that he was having after the night of drinking.

Then on June 25th , another record company took interest in him which he was thinking about signing to them but the thing is that CrossKnights and Voice4Steel are rivals.

"What about it because we would give you the best and-"

""Gustavo the visits and the talks we had was great but I need still more time."

"You had more time, how many do you need?"

"I-"

"Wait are you already with another record company?"

"No." Cole lied well technically it was a half lie since he is still in talks but  not working under them yet.

"Okay good take your time because I would love to have you here and you know-"

"Yeah yeah I know."

Cole knows what type of person Gustavo is and knowing he is not the right person he should work under with.

As the meeting was over, he walked out of the building and see Spencer talking to someone.

"Hey Spencer."

"Oh hey Cole are you done?"

"Yeah done with some business might come back here soon."

"That's great and oh this is Layla."

"You look familiar or look like someone?"

"You might have heard of my mom" Layla said

"Yeah I have heard of her and her songs is so good."

"Yeah it is and are you signing here?"

"I don't know yet but but once a decision come it will come....."

"You know seeing you eating that pineapple pizza really kinda hurt me so bad." Cole said as he took a big bite of his pepperoni pizza.

"Well I hope you suffer while you are watching me eat it." Marcus said.

"Our ancestors is not gonna like this."

"Too bad that they are dead."

Cole chuckled and then drank his soda.

After the meeting, Cole and Spencer had to pick up Marcus from their mom's house because Marcus himself said that he is bored  of staying home for the summer and pretty sure that she is tired of him moping around the house while playing sad music.

Cole and Marcus was sitting on the couch eating pizza while watching tv and Spencer was taking a shower.

"So what's going on with Spencer?. when you guys picked me up, he was acting so all flustered"

"Spencer is Spencer what do you think?"

"Let me guess he was talking to a girl?"

"Spencer talks to everyone no matter what gender so-"

"Well yeah but I mean as a crush"

"I don't know but I love teasing him about it."

"Hey don't leave me out of this."

"You know I am not gonna do that."

"Yeah I love messing with Spencer and he knows he deserves it."

The front door was heard opened and both Cole and Marcus turned around to see who it is.

"When did Spencer gave you a copy of his keys?" Marcus said

"Last year." Sammy said as he put his keys in his pocket.

Spencer came out of the other room and rolled his eyes.

"I am tired of people coming here unannounced like text me or call me that you are coming over."

Sammy laughed. "I did text you. He said as he sat on the couch.

"Well you probably texted me while I was in the bathroom."

"Spenc no one want to know about  what you were doing in the bathroom."

"Shut up Cole."

Cole's phone was ringing and he looked at the caller i.d then smiled

"I will be right back, I need to answer this phone call."

Cole went to the bathroom to answer the call and sighed.

"Hey Maddie."

"Hey, Cole." Maddie said

"You know I was about to call you but I guess you beat me to it."

"Well I guess I did and Cole are you doing anything tomorrow?"

"No I am free tomorrow but I got time for you."

"That's sweet and I was wondering if you want to go out for dinner?"

"Yeah I would love to and babe?"

"Yeah?"

"After dinner, maybe you should stay at my place for the night because you know I missed you so much."

If you missed her so much then why didn't you call or text her.........oh wait you wanted some space because of your commitment issues and the fact that you don't know if  you want a  serious relationship  that can last long.

"Cole I will think about it and I missed you too."

Cole smiled knowing that she can't see him smiling through the phone.

"Alright see you tomorrow."
