Gun walked into the theater room a few minutes before five. He was nervous but trying to remain calm or at least look it.
There were people on stage practicing lines. The fall play was premiering in three weeks so everyone was probably very busy.
"Gun!" Foei called out his name and motioned for him to walk over to the right side of the room where there were some people waiting.
Gun walked over and greeted everyone.
"We're waiting on one more person." Foei said, looking at everyone he had gathered. "I'm sure most of you already know each other. We're all fourth years and part of the same faculty."
Everyone nodded and gave each other smiles. They were all nervous to hear the results.
"Oh, there she is!" Foei said. "Dream! Over here!"
Dream?
The day just kept getting worse.
Dream Thongkham, the daughter of a well known politician and famous actress. Everyone in the university knew who she was. Not because she was well liked though.
Everyone tried steering clear of Dream if possible because one interaction with her could end up with her calling her father so she could get her way. Everyone in the communications and arts faculties knew her because ever since her first year she had been causing everyone a headache.
It had all started her first year when she had joined the theater club expecting everyone to bow down and let her run it however she wanted. She had auditioned for the first play of the year and was so confident she would receive the part that she went around bragging about who her mother was and how many famous people she knew. She didn't get the part.
She threw a fit claiming the club president and the seniors were targeting her because she was the daughter of a famous actress. It turned into a huge problem and the professors had to get involved. In the end the theatre club was forced to hold another round of auditions and the professors were there to see how the president and his committee ran auditions. And saw they did because Dream wasn't a very good actress. She was terrible. But so many people had heard about the theatre club having to hold auditions again because some girl threw a fit when she didn't get a role that the room was completely full to see what would happen so everyone witnessed Dream make a fool of herself.
The professors didn't meddle in the theatre club's auditions again after that.
But Dream's wrath didn't end there.
