Final Action: USS John C. Stennis CVN-74 (Azur Lane fanfic)

Chapter 15: Enclosure

After that uneventful night, expect for Stennis questioning how Hood was awake for so long, it finally was morning.

Stennis: Well, 1 day of no sleep, but this won't last forever.

I knew the effects of not sleeping for a week straight, for the first day, nothing really happens, for the second it makes you tired, but in the third and so on, you start to see hallucinations and other stuff. Oh right, the video was done, and Hood was sleeping on the personal bed I have in my command center.

Stennis: I'll take my leave, have a good sleep, Hood.

I go leave and go down the deck, sitting down the edge of the runway. I'm singing "Honest" in the meantime while listening to it. I also notice some Royal Navy girls, seems like they are questioning about where Hood is right now, I don't want to yell, its only 6:30 in the morning. The fresh air, morning breeze that is cold, and the sunrise makes for a good picture, so I decided to take one.

Someone was approaching me while I was singing, didn't know who, didn't care. Besides, if they need Hood she's just up there at my command center. i opened a new song in the meantime.

???: Stennis, can you hear me?

Stennis: Oh? Sorry Warspite, what do you need?

Warspite: Well about Hood-

I point towards the command center.

Stennis: In there.

Warspite: Thank you, oh and I wanted to ask.

Stennis: Hm?

Warspite: Did you really go in the Eagle Union and our dorms last night? I kind of heard a door.

Stennis: You find out quickly, yes I did. Some adjustments for you all, and stole snacks from specific ships, stayed awake for the rest of that night.

Warspite: Reason?

Stennis: Well, there were almost no breaks in my world, just 24/7 surveillance, because if we took a rest even in the slightest, there is a possibilty of something being hostile towards me or anyone else, and almost everyone can't go around the flight deck unlike before, so they were issued vitamin-D pills.

Warspite: That's horrible.

Stennis: Well the worst part is one of my sisters, went on deployment and didn't come back until some part I don't remember everything.

Warspite: Sounds....both fun and isolated.

Stennis: Well, it is what it is.

We were on another mission, maybe air superiority or something, I wasn't entirely sure because I was on my Command Center.

???: So, how is your stay with Azur Lane? It's a shame I have to sink you for good this time as you are a threat to our plans.
