Yes, I know, I said one cover, but I put 2 pictures. I decided to make it so that the cover could be flipped upside down!

Process

I wanted to do something according the prompt that I made in my Ocean Graphic Contest 2 on Aisy_Helena 's page. [Go check it out!] The theme is opposites, so I wanted to make something including the two opposites. I wanted to make the opposites contrasting but matching in the same graphic, thus the title for the cover. Oxymorons are phrases that include two opposite nouns/concepts in the same time [e.g. a loud silence] I wanted to make sure the cover to be able to look like an actual book cover even if you flipped it upside down. That took a little bit of thought.

You see, the first solution was easy. Turn the opposite on the bottom upside down so that when I flip the cover, it would look like the [now] opposite on top would be upright and the one on the bottom now would be upside down. Okay I know that that was really confusing, but basically I made it look like the cover was the same upside down except that the opposites where switched.

Now, the only thing that would have  been upside down was the title. So after some thinking, I decided to duplicate the title and turn it upside down.

Here's the point where @/hahaha-i-do-that comes in. The cover looked a little weird so I let him look at the cover. He told me that the cover was a little too grey, and after a lot of tweaking and trial and error, I decided to make the 'happy sunshine' part a purple tint and that really balanced out the cover.

Anyways, that's all for now! Bye yall~
