"Where do you want to go next, Xiao?"

"Next...? Isn't it already late?"

You rolled you eyes. "Xiao, if you want to take your leave so desperately, just say it."

"Always assuming the worst, huh."

"Aren't you the pessimist of us two?"

Before it could escalate into a big fight, Paimon floats between you two, waving her arms.
"HEYYYYYY GUYS DO YOU SEE THE OLD LADY OVER THERE? LOOK AT WHAT SHE'S SELLING"

Surprised, you both turn your gaze into the direction Paimon is pointing at.

Oh, right! That old lady was a toy seller and mostly sold kites in the shape your heart desires.

Thinking back of the pointless argument you just had with Xiao, you start to regret it. This was really not the perfect time to fight over unnecessary things. You wanted to enjoy the free time that Xiao graciously decided to spend with you.

You both walked up to the old lady. She was standing next to a table that displayed colorful kites in any shape.

The old lady heard your footsteps and turned around to greet you with a big smile.

"Good evening! Is the sweet couple interested in handmade kites?"

... What did she just say?

You look around nervously, searching for Paimon and spot her at the other end of the table that displayed kites. Hopefully she didn't hear anything...

"Yes, that's right, Granny Shan. But I can't choose...they all look so awesome!" You say and lay your eyes on a really big one that was shaped like a dragon.

Somehow, it reminded you of someone...

Granny Shan gives you another warm smile. "Indeed, they all look unique in their own way..."

Suddenly, you feel someone pull on you arm. You turn your gaze and end up meeting with Xiao's golden eyes. Your breath stops for a second, your body clearly couldn't quite comprehend Xiao's face being so close to you in all of a sudden.

"I want the dragon." He says.

"T-The dragon?" You don't understand what he meant by it. A brief look at the table with the kites makes you finally realize it.

"You want that dragon shaped kite?"

Xiao nods as a response.

"Granny Shan, do you have more of those dragon kites?" You ask politely and she smiles.
"Yes, I do have but there's only one left. Take it."

She hands you the dragon kite and you bow to show your thanks.

"How much will it cost?"

The old lady looks between you two. You felt a little uncomfortable as she smiled amusingly and you were afraid that another comment of how cute you look together would slip out her mouth.

Guess what? You were right.

"I just can't take how lovely the lucky boy next you is-
The kite is for him, right?"

You nod, unsure of what to say.

"Well." The old lady takes a look at the kite. "I'd usually sell this for 34.000 Mora. But for you, I will make an exception."

Xiao seems to be bothered by the lady's offer. "We have to pay you for the hard work you've done making this kite."

The old lady glances at Xiao so intensely that it almost made you jealous. It was crazy, I mean, it's a granny. Why would you be jealous of a granny?
