Putting your car in park outside Chaeyoung's home, you turned off your lights and reached for your phone to text her that you arrived.

I'm here, my love.

You sent the text and set your phone on your lap, turning the radio up just a tiny bit to keep yourself occupied but not so loud that it would wake or disturb anyone in the neighborhood, specifically Chaeyoung's parents.

I'll be out in a minute, babe.

You read Chaeyoung's text and a smile tugged at your face. You sent her a smiley emoji before putting your phone back on do not disturb and then putting it back in the cupholder.

You never thought you'd do this; sneak out of your home and pick Chaeyoung up from hers.

But even as senior year is coming to an end in a week or so, your parents still treat you unfairly. They push you way too hard and they don't know that you and Chaeyoung are together, as you're too afraid to tell them.

Chaeyoung is the same way with her parents, not telling them yet about your relationship, since she just doesn't know how they might react and since you don't have much time to see each other during the day, sneaking out is the only option you seem to have right now.

You watched as she slowly stepped outside the front door, turning the lock with her key before slipping it into her bag and rushing to the car.

The passenger door opened and as soon as she was inside, her lips were on yours for a sweet and passionate kiss.

"I've missed you so much." She said.

"Chae, I saw you just a few hours ago." You chuckled.

"So? That's different. That's at school, where everything is much harder. Besides, I can miss you within that short amount of time. I'm so in love with you. When you're not around, I miss you, even if we're apart for only a little while."

"Aw, babe," you giggled and shared a few more kisses before she put her hand on your thigh.

"Let's get out of here, my love."

You nodded and turned your headlights on as you began to drive away.

"So what should we do? It's after midnight, I'm not sure what's going to be open and I'm also not sure what time you want to stay out until."

"As late as possible. I'll have to be home by five so my parents won't notice my absence. But I'd love to stay out until then if you're up for it."

"You know I am." You smiled and she brushed her fingers across your skin in circles.

"As for what we should do - whatever you want to do, baby. It's fine with me, no matter what it is. As long as we're together."

"Are you hungry?"

"Yes!" She grinned and leaned over to kiss your cheek.

You agreed to stop for a quick meal, stopping off at a cozy restaurant that was open late and also didn't have anyone else inside besides the workers and a couple of people that were minding their own business.

You shared your food with her just as she shared hers with you, happily putting a few forkfuls into your mouth.

"Are you done?" She asked.

"Yeah. But if you want, let's stay here for a few minutes. It's almost one. We've got a lot of time to do whatever."

"I like that idea." She smiled and kissed your head as you laid it on her shoulder.

You closed your eyes, a sigh falling from your lips.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah." You said and lifted your head from her shoulder, forcing a smile.

"Baby, I see right through that fake smile of yours. Come on, look at me. Tell me what's going on. It's only me, you know can tell me anything."

"I'm just thinking a lot." You said and took her hand into yours, nervously toying with her fingers. "High school is about to end. We graduate in about a week or so. College is just around the corner. I can't help but wonder what lies ahead and what might happen to us after we graduate."

"Baby, we got into the same university." She reminded you with a giggle, playfully elbowing you.

She thought you'd smile but, to her dismay, you still looked down.

"Hey," she whispered softly, brushing her thumb across your knuckles. "I don't have all the answers. I can't see into the future so I can't tell you everything that will happen. But there is one thing I know for certain."

"What's that?"

"That you and I are in this for life. I know we're young, I know we have our whole lives ahead of us, but we've been together for a couple of years now and we've made it this far together. I know I'm in love with you. I know you're in love with me. Once we're out of this town and in college, we'll get our own place and we'll be together without worrying about a thing."

"In this for life? You're sure?"

She nodded and put her forehead against yours.

"Y/N, I have never been more sure of anything else in my life. We're young, we don't know a lot of how the world outside works, but we always have each other to lean on for whatever is ahead. I know, with all of my heart and soul, that you're the one I want to grow old with. You're the one I want to marry someday. You're the one I want a family with. You're my girl, the love of my life. Nothing and no one can or will ever change that."

You put your lips on hers, sharing a sweet kiss.

"That's all I want, Chaeyoung."

"Me too." She smiled. "So do you feel a little better now?"

"Much better." You smiled.

"Good. How about we go to the park?"

"That's a great idea. I have a blanket in my car. We can lay on the grass and stargaze for a while."

"Sounds perfect."

You paid the bill and went back to your car, driving to the park.

You found a good spot to lay before spreading the blanket out on the grass. You laid down and Chaeyoung put her head on your shoulder, her hand instantly intertwining with yours.

"Can we stay here forever?" She asked as she breathed out a contented sigh and you chuckled, wishing more than anything that you could.

"I wish." You softly spoke. "I'll be enjoying every minute out here with you."

"Me too."

"You know something, Chaeyoung? I thought the stars in the sky would take my breath away tonight but they don't nearly as much as you do."

"Oh, hush." She playfully teased as she gazed into your eyes adoringly.

"You're beautiful."

"You're beautiful, baby." She replied and leaned in for a kiss when an idea came to her mind, causing her to smirk.

"What's that look for?"

"Have we ever made out under the stars before?"

"Not that I can remember."

"I think we should change that."

You couldn't help but laugh and Chaeyoung couldn't help the way her heart fluttered in response.

"I think that's a wonderful idea." You said and pulled her closer as she put her lips on yours.

This was easily one of the best nights that you've had in a long time.

And knowing for certain now that Chaeyoung wants the same thing as you - to spend the rest of her life with you - you knew that you'd be finding yourself thinking that quite often.

There are many amazing nights ahead with her by your side.

Life is going to be amazing and you know every minute of it will be made even better with your girl by your side every step of the way.
