Results

After a long wait [apologies again] the results have finally been decided! Sadly, a lot of people lost a lot of marks for not giving us their concepts, or their resources, or being punctual. If you were all of these, then you would probably lose more marks. So yes, some entries may look better than the others, but they missed out on one of the above categories and that's why they weren't placed. I don't want anyone in the comments saying "This user deserves to be placed, not this user." It is very rude towards the people who were placed. Now, onto the results. Let's start with the ones who scored top three this round!

Also, I  think that a lot of you misunderstood the prompt. I made a quick cover to show you an example

The cover was very creative, however it gave off more of a dystopian 'vibe', per se, instead of a fantasy one.

I like how you used the green of the forest to bring out the gold in the elements. I love the effort that you've put into drawing the border. Good job.

I think that you misunderstood the prompt, and what typography means. I like the effort that you put into adding all the elements but they just made the cover a bit messy. You didn't site the resources or your process properly either. However, good effort.

I don't understand some of the design choices that you've made here, the fonts didn't really match the cover and all in all it just didn't fit the prompt. You also missed out on your process and did not site your resources properly either. Good try though.

Congratulations to all those who have made it into the second round, and the people who have been ranked, good job, but don't get complacent. We gave an easy prompt this round, and it's only going to get a lot harder. You might've also realised that there are only two people eliminated instead of 4. Two people who wish not to  be named have decided to drop out of the competition for personal reasons. For those who have been eliminated, this is not a statement of your abilities as a designer. You can always improve, and maybe you might win the next contest we host. However, for now, we wish you the best of luck.
