     /trigger warning/

"Dianna are you in here?" She called into her room softly.

"Yeah why aren't you with Levi?" She replied.

"I don't know. I wanted to check on you, make sure your ok." She shrugged.

"I'll be ok." She smiled. "You should go."

"I don't know how long we'll be gone. If you want you can go hang out with Griffin." She suggested.

    She saw Dianna go pink.

"H-how do you know about him?" She asked.

Arley laughed, "I'm not that dumb you know. I can always smell that he's around when I'm not. I don't mind as long as you have worthy company."

"You know what I think I will!" She grinned.

"Go for it I gotta go." She gave Dianna a hug and strode to meet Levi by the stairs.

   "Shall we?" He shifted.

She rolled her eyes playfully and did the same.

They sprinted happily in front of the other in turns.

"Hold...up...I'm...out...of...breath." Levi panted shifting and putting his hand on his knees.

"Already?" She asked with a mock yawn.

"Yes already!" He shook his head.

She shifted and handed him a water bottle.

"River water?" He looked at her.

    She nodded with a laugh.

Levi made a look of distaste and handed it back.

She shrugged and took a drink.

     "Suit yourself."

Arley shifted back and started sprinting leaving him to catch his breath.

She sat down and admired the sky.

When Levi caught up he seemed to look at her with the same admiration.

"What are you staring at?" She asked when she noticed him watching her.

His fox's vibrant yellow eyes bore into her blue ones, making her slightly uncomfortable.

      She shuffled her paws.

"Very clearly something that should have everything she could ever want." He tilted his head.

"Is that your way of asking me to be your mate?" She raised a brow.

      "Basically." He shrugged.

She sighed but gave a small smile, "If you think you'll enjoy being mates with an assassin. Sure."

His fluffy black tail wagged making her laugh.

She furrowed her brows as she remembered something embarrassing.

She had forgotten about going into heat soon.

A vixens heat cycle lasts for about one to six days, even if she has a mate plenty of males try to court.

Some vixens choose to mate with males even if they aren't her mate.

She didn't say anything but put her head in her hands.

     "What's wrong?" He asked.

Her eyes widened and she laughed nervously, "n-nothing!"
