"H-Hey there! How are you Mina?"(Ben)
She gave him a confused look when she stared at him. Her eyes looked up at him
"Did you make yourself taller somehow?"(Mina)
"Me? No! 5'10 is tall enough- I mean I was always 5'11- Haha I'm gonna stop talking before I spontaneously combust!"(Ben)
She laughed and Ben felt complied to try and make another joke to chase the sound of her laughter and sucked in air through his teeth as he realized something
"That.. Has actually happened before- I mean- Uhh-"(Ben)
He gave himself a mental pep talk, along the lines of You are Ben Tennyson, Champion of Earth, Savior of the Highbreed, Defender of the Galaxy. You beat an omnipotent being! You can go on a date! He grinned at Mina
"Let's get something to eat!"(Ben)
Or maybe not.

"Uh yeah I'll take the nuggets meal that has the fruit and mil- wi-''(Ben)
"Sir that is the kid's menu."(Waitress)
"...Alright then- uhh- A 30 piece nuggets with a large fries and large coke"(Ben)
"And what can I get for you ma'am?"(Waitress)
"Oh! Well I'll take the same thing!"(Mina)
"Alright, and I'm assuming you want to do the couples discount we have for today?"(Waitress)
Ben POV

"Right! Well thats 10% off your bill,, we'll have your food brought over as soon as we can!"(Waitress)

"This was- really fun actually- I was really nervous about this but it was great!"(Ben)
"Yeah! It was a great first date, can't wait for the next one-"(Mina)
Wait what? I didn't ruin everything in a relationship yet? A-Alright! Wait is she leaning over here-!?
Narrator POV
Ben had noticed Mina leaning over towards him eyes closed and it took him a moment to realize what was happening and he leaned over as well their lips inches apart..
