Chapter 9: ᴀʀᴍs ᴀʀᴏᴜɴᴅ ᴍᴇ

Su-hyeok immediately went to try and push Y/n off of him with his free arm

“Fuck-” He cussed once he saw blood pouring out of his nose, his eyes turning red with veins spreading around it

There was no doubt that Y/n is slowly turning into a zombie, a feeling of pain and guilt rushed through his veins as On-jo screams for Cheong-san to get away from his brother

A metal stand made contact with the side of Y/n's face, creating a gash that goes from his forehead down to his cheek bone

The rope that was tied to Su-hyeok got untied as Y/n flew from the impact. The others we're all gathered by the door while holding different kind of items they can use for fighting

Y/n grunted in pain as his hand flew up to his face, he felt something gushing down on the side of his face, it was warm thick.

He pulled his hand away and looked at it, and there he saw his palm covered in fresh blood from the wound that cheong-san inflicted on him

“Ms, Pres.!” Su-hyeok yelled but was too late as Nam-ra already kneeled beside Y/n to check up on him

Her hand slowly grabbing his wrist and pulling it away from his face, once she saw the wound she took a deep breath before pulling out her handkerchief and using it to cover the wound

Low grows can be heard coming from Y/n as he fights the urge to lunge at Nam-ra

“Stay back.” Y/n whispered as he gently pushed Nam-ra's arm away from him

But she stubbornly pulled her arm away and brought it back to his face, he closed his eyes shut as he let's he do whatever she want

“Ms, pres.. whatever you're doing right now is very dangerous.” Su-hyeok said while standing up

His hands reaching out towards Nam-ra's shoulder, his eyes not leaving Y/n's figure

Once the tip of his finger landed on top of Nam-ra's shoulder Y/n turned and wrapped his arm around the female pulling her into a back hug with his head burried on the crook of her neck

She was in a serious situation, Y/n can took a bite at any moment..

“Make...it stop please” Y/n mumbled against her shoulder causing for her body to stiffened up

“Stop what?” She asked

“The crying..the puking.. everything.. it's so loud.” Y/N answered

She could feel his arms tightening around her, her eyes flashed between Cheong-san and Su-hyeok then to the others

No one was crying no vomiting, so what was that Y/n was hearing?

“It's okay..I'm here.” Nam-ra said reassuringly while gently caressing his arm

“Su-hyeok, give us a moment please.” She said, he was about to argue but once he saw her nodding her head he had no choice but to just obeyed

He sat the other side, still eyeing the two like a hawk, Cheong-san leaned on the table beside him also watching Y/n

“I'm sorry...” Y/n whispered which caughed Nam-ra off guard

“Why are you sorry?” She asked but received no answer as his arms slowly turned limp around him

She turned her head towards him, she reached out to grab his face and immediately felt his skin freezing cold just like how the zombies feels like

She toon a deep breath, her heart hammer against her rib cage as she hesitantly lifted up his chin to see his face

His eyes were closed but his skill has turned really pale, a purplish mark around his left eye his lips were dry due to dehydrate

“You don't have to apologize...” She whispered back before reaching up towards his hair and running her fingers through it feeling it soft and silky despite being stuck inside the school for 2 days

“What is she doing?” Dae-su asked Wu-jin who shrugged in return

Gyeong-Su who was standing beside ON-JO nudges her and pointed towards Y/n and Nam-ra

“Are they together again?” Gyeong-Su asked

“No, I don't think so.." On-jo said while shrugging her shoulders

A feeling of worry engulfing her body the longer the stares at her brother, her eyes becoming teary and a bit stingy

“Will he be fine?” She asked softly

Gyeong-Su sighed and looked away

“I...I don't know.” he answered

Y/n was a very close friend of his, Su-hyeok, Y/n and Cheong-san has been always there for him and seeing Y/n in this situation makes him think that maybe he should've just died there instead of letting Y/n suffer for him
