Chapter 12: ʟᴍᴀᴏ ᴄʜᴏᴋᴇ

Y/N STOOD AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS WITH SU-HYEOK AND CHEONG-SAN BEHIND HIM BOTH SURPRISED

by his sudden change of look, he cracks his knuckles and was about to step down the stairs to beat Gwi-nam when suddenly the door to the rooftop opens

“Guys, the door's open" On-jo said as she turned to them

Everyone climbed up and Y/n felt someone grabbed him by the back of his shirt and basically dragged him up with them

“I'm gonna choke!” Y/n yelled as he tried to break free until he fell on his knees

He could hear how everyone was begging for the chopper to come back but failed to be heard

Y/n sat down and dusted his pants until he heard banging from the door, Cheong-san being brave that he is walked towards the door and placed his head beside it but just before he could press his head against the door another banging occured which made him move away

“He's gone.” Y/n said while stretching his arms, completely unbothered

“Who's gone?” Su-hyeok asked turning towards him

“Gwi-nam, who else.” Y/n said rolling his eyes, still pissed how Su-hyeok betrayed him at the music room

“I can literally hear and smell him, and it's something I'm not proud of.” Y/n said while standing up and walks towards his sister who took a step back which caught him off guard

“What?” He asked but received no response

“Are you scared of me?” Y/n asked and when On-jo turned around and head towards where the rest are he let's out a laugh of disbelief

“I'm sure she's just upset.” Nam-ra said beside Y/m startling him

“Give her some time.” She added before turning to look at him

“What about you? Are you hurt?” Y/n asked, Nam-ra shakes her head

“I'm fine.” She said, Y/n nodded and the two stood there in awkward silence

“Five bucks and those two will kiss.” Wu-jin said to Ji-min who rolled her eyes at him

“You don't need to bet, I'm sure they've done it a hundred times.” Gyeong-Su said as he helped helped Dae-su grabbed woods

“Y/n..”

“Nam-ra..”

The two looked at each other at the same time, both eyes widened as they both called their names simultaneously

“You go first.” Y/n said before clearing his throat

“I believe you.” Nam-ra said

“What do you mean?” Y/n asked tilting his head slightly on the side

“When they said that you cheated, I didn't believe them because I know you'll never do that-”

“And yet you broke up with me the day after the rumors spread out.” Y/n cuts her off with his cold voice

“It was-”

“Your mother's decision, I know we've talked about this already.” Y/n said before sighing

“Let's just go and help the other build an SOS sign.” Y/n said giving her a tap on the shoulder before heading towards the others

Joon-yeong climbed up the ladder and stood at the top to help them build the SOS sigh more accurately

“Okay, Uh the O is a bit narrow.” He started and the others began fixing the mistakes

Y/n picked up a wood and saw a hand on the other side, he looked up and saw Su-hyeok already looking at him

He rolled his eyes and dropped the wood with force catching the latter off guard

“What's wrong with you?” Su-hyeok asked, picking up the wood

“Mind your own business.” Y/n said as he picked up a long pipe and handed it towards Ji-min

“Can you pick that up?” Hyo-ryung asked Y/n while pointing at the Broken piece of chair beside the male which he obliged and handed towards the female

Y/n watched as his sister struggled to pick up a thick piece of wood so he walked towards her and picked it up, On-jo looked at him and walked away without saying any word

“Don't test my patience, On-jo.” Y/n muttered to himself before dropping the wood beside Gyeong-Su who screamed in pure shock

“That almost crushed my leg!” He yelled

“Damn I missed.” Y/n sarcastically said before walking away

Y/n have had enough helping and just sat on a chair, he watched how the others tried to make it big as possible so any helicopter that would come can read it

“Can you like help?” Su-hyeok asked while picking up a piece of metal beside Y/n

“No thanks, I've already helped you enough” Y/n said feeling a bit petty from all the saving he had done for them

“You've only picked up a few woods-” Su-hyeok snapped

“Can't you just mind your damn business, You're so annoying today.” Y/n groaned as he picked up a sign forcefully and hands it towards dae-su

Once everything was finished Y/n laid down at the corner of the rooftop and tried to get some sleep while waiting for the rescuers, he was about to drift to Neverland when he felt a presence beside him

He lifts up his arm and saw On-jo sitting beside him

“Done with your tantrum?” He asked

“I'm sorry..I just got upset on how you would always sacrifice yourself for us.” On-jo muttered

Y/n sat up and leaned against the wall, he patted the space beside him which On-jo immediately sat at

“I'm sorry too for always leaving you.” Y/n said grabbing her hand

“Promise me one thing.” On-jo said

“Anything.” Y/n answered

“Don't ever leave me again.”
