So now that you made it through all of the 5 pages, it looks like we are on the questions and answers about Tulpamancy. I have been studying this for a while as I said and I will do my best to answer your questions.

Q: Are Tulpas spirits or demons?

They are neither. Tulpas come from our imagination as we manifest them to become a being. They are a thoughtform. They could look like a spirit, demon, angel, etc. but they are not actually those types of creatures.

Q: Can your Tulpa become hostile?

This gets brought up a lot. I don't think they would be hostile but I guess in my perspective, it is how you see and think it. Another way they could potentially be a threat if you were to disrespect them. Any type of negativity you show to them will make them upset like having a destructive state of mind- best not to make a Tulpa if you are going through that. They are like people and should be treated respectfully like one. Another way they could become violent is if you create them to be hostile.

Q: Can Tulpas possess you?

This is called "switching." Basically yes, it is possessing except you allow your Tulpa to take your place, like vice versa. You have control to switch back anytime.

Q: Are Tulpas supposed to have a free will?

You can control how your Tulpa acts. Think of it as rules set between you and the Tulpa, boundaries that are made with one another. On the other hand, Tulpas having a will of their own is what defines them for who they are and to have freedom.

Q: How does switching work?

Switching or possessing works differently for others and their Tulpas. How it works for me is meditating and communicating with them. I then allow them to take over. My emotions can also reach out to them.

Q: Is it okay to make a Tulpa that is exactly like the person irl that I like?

This could be a hit or miss. The answer here is it depends on other's thoughts on this. Personally I am iffy about it because it just feels weird to me but that is just me. As I say, you do you.

Q: Does it take long for a Tulpa to grow/develop?

If you put your mind to it, you could build them up to grow. Your Tulpa is a person who is trying to grow so helping them out, communicating with them, doing activities, getting to know them is the best way to do it.

Q: Why can't we work with Tibetan's OG Tulpamancy?

No one is stopping you from doing that original practice. However, keep in mind that creating a God thoughtform takes a lot of time, patience, and furthermore, a lot of mental energy out of you. This is Tibetan Religion and hence why it is a closed practice. I don't want to touch it because I am not a part of it. Plus, I feel like it may be risky to practice.

Q: What's the difference between OG Tulpamancy and Western Tulpamancy?

As explained, the OG one is a closed practice while Western Tulpamancy is an open practice, there is no god making. In a way from how I see it, the Western Tulpamancy is a bit modified to make it safe and fun for other Tulpamancers to try out.

Q: Is it witchcraft or associated with the occult?

That is entirely up to you to decide whether or not it is associated with witchcraft or the occult. The original Tulpamancy is a concept of mysticism, Theosophy, and the paranormal which is an object or being being created with mental powers or through spiritual practice. For the modern or Western Tulpamancy, it is the same concept in a way. They aren't some spirit, demon, or unknown force. They are within your mind, if that makes sense. I stated that "It is not witchcraft" for the modern one. Everyone has their opinions.

Q: Is it okay to have a Tulpa based on a fictional character?

I don't see why not? Example, if you want to create a Tulpa that is like Batman or Superman, then go for it! Making your Tulpa from inspiration is a very creative way to expand them.

Q: I don't need my Tulpa anymore, how do I dispose or get rid of them?

Simple; Just tell them that you don't need them anymore. Pretty much like ending a friendship/relationship, just tell them how you feel and move on.

Q: How is Tulpamancy different from OSDD, DID, MPD, and Schizophrenia?

In short, Tulpamancy is a practice while OSDD, DID, MPD, and Schizophrenia are all disorders.
