At long last they arrive at the tower, safe at last once they are allowed to pass beyond the kingsmen barricade. At last they feel like they might be safe but they know that this is only temporary and they still don't know what's going on. They decide to split up and see where they can make themselves helpful, and as a result eron discover that the court alchemist is coming to put an end to the monsters. However before he can arrive a giant monster attacks and forces the children to respond in what little they can, fighting back as best they can. However despite their best efforts and the entire kingsmen defenses, they are still unable to defeat the creature until the court alchemist finally reveals himself and destroys the beast in a powerful blast of magic.
