It is with the blessing of the Stormcloud sages that the heroes move onward, through the portal into the Lich Realm and into Valardul Waste, an aptly named desert a great distance from the Lich Kingdom.
The plan is to sneak up on the Lich from behind and catch him by surprise.
Also, that basically the only way to reach the Lich Realm from Dysania anyways.
Did I mention that they just moved from a mountaintop into a desert?
I hope someone brought a parachute.
