Stormcloud is an ancient portal into the Lich realm, and it is zealously guarded by an equally ancient sage clan, and on top of having set up a mystical barrier to protect the temple from intruders, they are also powerfully trained in magic and sworn to prevent any creatures from the Lich Realm from being able to escape into Dysania.
This is important because their currently in the middle of a battle with a hideous giant creature which is tearing up the place.
