I exercised on a yoga mat for an hour then head to the kitchen. I prepared breakfast and woke up the little one. I helped her to dress and cherished the extra three minutes of sweet cuddle time with her. Eventually we sat down to eat and continued our morning routine until a knock on the front door was heard.
That was weird.
I opened the door and stared at the uninvited guest/intruder/stranger who stood awkwardly. The little one waddled to the front door and held my hand. The stranger smiled. That was a creepy smile. He looked down at my daughter and waved his hand.
"Hello, I'm your father,"
I had never seen this person.
