Xiao pov
"Hiya!! I'm Venti nice to meet you!!" The boy said "hi... I'm Xiao.." I said muttering a bit in between "Xiao make sure to leave this note from me at the office saying your excused from classes until lunch, ok?" Ms. Jean said rather worriedly probably cause of my lack of social skills, but I mean I don't need social skills to show some new kid around school..... right?

3rd person pov
As Xiao showed Venti around the school, he would talk when they reached a new classroom briefly explain it, and then move on, however whenever they were walking to a new one everything was almost silent, as Xiao was to flustered to talk as he's not good with social skills "You're not exactly the best at socialising are you?" Venti spoke up trying to break up the long silence "yeah not really.... I was actually doing this to help out a friend, since they already had a lot to do" Xiao said, Venti let out a small chuckle " you know I think that's the most I've heard you talk all day!" Venti said Xiao looked away from him clearly embarrassed
As Xiao and Venti heard the lunch bell wring Xiao was about to leave when Venti said something again "hey Xiao?" Venti said "what is it?" Xiao said calmly and without pauses in between like earlier "can I sit with you at lunch? It's just I don't know anyone here at the college...." Venti said sort of nervously "sure.... Why not.." Xiao said not really expecting to have to talk to Venti other than the tour "yay!!!" Venti happily said.

Venti pov
As me and Xiao entered the lunch room somehow over all the noise from the surroundings students I could here shouting, I looked over at Xiao confused and he just sighed and told me to follow him.
"Aiya... aiya.. why weren't you at any morning classes Xiao were you perhaps skip- oh who's this?" The girl who was talking to Xiao said pointing over to me "is he your boyfriend or something?" I could feel my face heat up "judging by tha- OW! What was that for!" The girl protested about the fact Xiao had lightly hit her on the head " Hu Tao you know exactly why....." Xiao said giving the girl who's name must've been Hu Tao a glare "anyways this is Venti he's a new student" Xiao said "Hi" I finally said, I was going to talk to Xiao, but I realised he had just left me there with Hu Tao as he went to go get food
"Sorry about her..." the girl who was sitting next to Hu Tao said, pushing Hu Tao head down on the table "oh, no, no!! Don't worry it fine.... Umm.." I said realising I didn't know the girls name "My name is Xiangling and the 2 boys over there, are Xinqui and Chongyun" Xiangling said "and I am of course the on- OW COME ON NOT AGAIN XIAO!" Hu Tao protested against the fact Xiao had hit, the back of her head with his hand again

Hu Tao pov
"Well then stop harassing Venti, he only just got here today" Xiao said to me with the same glare as always "well that's no reason to cut me out of the conversation, also I was only introducing myself... aiya... aiya... also why are you being so nice to Venti, I'm you're best freind of almost a year and your never this nice to me, I feel so hurt" I said overly dramatically to annoy Xiao, however Xiao did not respond to me this time, he just stayed, oh well.
"Hey Hu Tao, weren't you trying to join the student council?" Xiao said with a smirk on his face, a rare sight "ah... about that.." I said remembering what had happened earlier today....
Flash back start
"Hi there Ganyu!!" I said to the secretary of the student council, Ganyu was Xiaos older sister so I felt like she might actually let me in, just since she knew me "oh hello there Hu Tao, did you need something?" Ganyu said sleepily, she had bags under her eyes, you could tell she had been up all night, probably studying or working on the student council "actually....." I said

Hu Tao pov (still in a flashback)
"So you were wondering if you could join the student council?" Ganyu said "yep!!" I said enthusiastically while nodding my head up and down "I'm sorry about this Hu Tao but shenhe just joined and I feel like, now we have way to many people as it is, plus..... even if there were less people, you failed half your classes last year so I can't really let you join a club like thing such as this..... I'm simply worried about the state of your grades I'm afraid I can't let you join , im sorry...." Ganyu said seeming guilty, I sighed to myself as she walked away
End of flashback
"So that's what happen....." I could hear Xiao silently chuckling, however Chongyun completely bursted out laughing.
3rd person pov
"Hey why are you laughing at me!!??" Hu Tao said as Chongyun was practically on the floor dying because of how much he was laughing "because it's funny!!" Chongyun said "do you know else is funny!? How much of a joke your little ghost hunting adventures are!!!" Hu Tao shouted, a few heads turned to look at their table who were mostly upper class-men "it's not a joke!!" Chongyun shouted catching the attention of more people "well it sure sounds like one, SINCE GHOSTS ARENT REAL!" Hu Tao shouted back "THEY ARE REAL TAKE THAT BACK!!" Chongyun shouted even louder, Xinqui just closed his book and sighed.
Xinqui and Xiangling held Chongyun and Hu Tao back attempting to stop them from having a full on fight, they just kept shouting at each other until one of the fourth years, Thoma came over and broke up their fight before any teachers noticed what was happening, the rest of the lunch break went by as normal well, other than Venti being there since it was his first day.
