EPILOGUE 1 | Forever Stuck With Me

SIX MONTHS LATER:

I will never let you go.

But if it comes down to it I will. If we need space apart, I'll let go because I care and I love you that much.

But I don't intend to leave anytime soon.

It's crazy to think we were at that point where we had to talk about splitting up. But we figured it out like we always do. It was over something stupid, distance got to us and we thought we couldn't handle it. I told you that other people have it worse than us, so we need to stop whining and grow up.

I stare at him as he dribbles the ball up and down the court doing drills. Sweat dripping down his forehead as he smile.

Azariah bumps his fist with Kylo's before the referee blows his whistle.

Game face on.

A smile falls upon my lips as I look at the number on his jersey. I remember him telling me that the number would be a surprise until his first game of the season. Sixteen-- my favorite number.

He never fail to amaze me.

A high pitched scream brings me out of my daze. "GO AZARIAH! WOOO!" Athena punches my shoulder. "Can you believe this is the last game of high school, before we move to college? I might cry."

"I'm going to cry." I say. Fanning my face. "I'm going to miss this."

"You know I know you'll attend our games."

I look at her with the 'yes I know.' "Yes, you know me so well."

Ten seconds into the game and you're already on fire. Best point guard on the team.

After gaining a point Kylo runs back to the middle and point to your team mate, Jake. Shouting where he should go and who he should guard.

I don't understand a thing. But I'm here to support Kylo. Always.

As he run to the other side of the court he looks at me for just a few seconds. Seconds long enough to understand the words he mouthed before he turned around.

I love you.

God I love him too. Making my heart flutter even more and shit. And he says he isn't the romantic type.

PRESENT:

I miss the high school days.

"Beach Haven University takes home the win! 33 - 80." The ref announces. You already know the eighty is us!

The guys all jump and hug each other on the court. I see a tiny piece of bright blonde hair among the dark colored hairs hugging Kylo.

This was an away game. The first one to be exact. BH's school spirit never fails to amaze me, and don't get me wrong Grey's spirit is off of the charts but BH? A whole other level. The students start to chant, "BH, BH, BH, BEACH HAVEN!"

After celebrating with his teammates he runs over to me. Picking me up whilst in a hug. "I'm sorry I'm sweaty. But I just want to hug you." He says. "Did you look at my jersey number?"

I laugh into the hug and hug him even tighter. "I don't even care that you're sweating. And Yes I did, that was unexpected." I grab his face and bring him in for a kiss. "You did great Lo, you were amazing."

He mutters a thank you.

"Lina bear! C'mere." Azariah walks over with Athena. "Thank you for coming."

"You know I'll always be here, I'd never miss it." I say. Smiling into the hug. "Even if the drives are so fucking long. Anything for you guys."

The guys say goodbye and will meet us outside before they have to leave. They run back to join their teammates and into the locker room.

Azariah turns around and jumps in place to wave to us before they get pushed into the locker room. Causing Athena and I to laugh.

"Let's go?" Athena says.

We all stand outside, Kylo leans against his car as I stand in front of him. His hand playing with a strand of my hair.

"I missed you bear."

I give him a peck on his lip. "I missed you too, when's your next game?" I ask.

Kylo pulls me in for another hug. "I think two weeks from now... Do you think you'll be able to make it?" He says, pulling away to look at me. "Because like of timing, school-"

Cutting him off. "I will make it, I made you a promise." I reply looking him in the eyes. "I won't break it, you know I'll always make it work."

He stares at me with so much love. His hand grabs mine, his fingers mindlessly twisting the silver ring around. "I know you always make it work, I just worry."

As I open my mouth to say something Azariah and Athena come out from the gym and start screaming at us.

"HEY GUYS!"

"Hey Zariah."

"Linaaaa!!" Athena drags my name out as she gives me a hug. "I saw and talked to you earlier but I miss you already."

I laugh. "I'm sorry to ruin the mood, but it's getting really late and I have to head back to Grey."

Everyone groans at the name of Grey.

"It's okay guys," he puts his hands up in the air. "We all love bear. And love her very much. Don't- we...?"

The two blondes quietly answer a yes.

"Okay okay enough, come give me a hug."

We all bid our goodbyes. Kylo stays behind.

He grabs me by the waist spinning me around to face him. "You know, you're forever stuck with me right?"

I playfully roll my eyes. "Yeah yeah I know."

"It was good to see you bear, we all missed you." He says.

"I know. I'll try and visit you guys every chance I have."

He laughs knowing I will always try and make it.

"I love you forever and always."

"I love you forever and always, bear."
