12. Car rides🖤

A/n: so this is gonna be a WHOLE different imagine. For context: Y'all can get your license when you turn 15 and Ash has a car. You do too. It's also Friday when this is happening. Enjoy babes 😘

You and Ash had been dating for a year now and one of your favorite dates was getting his car and driving around listening to music. Ash loved these dates because they were lowkey and didn't cost a lot(even though he could afford it). You always had to sneak out of course but Ash would pick you up a street away. You two would go everywhere; sometimes y'all went to get ice cream, other times you guys just drove around but either way, you guys always had fun.
Ash was having a rough day, rougher than usual. He had dropped his phone and cracked it, Fez and Lexi were taking up the couch and he failed his chem exam. He needed to blow off some steam and so did you so you did the only thing that would cheer you both up.

You told your parents you were going to Maddy's  house and that you would be back tomorrow; your parents didn't like Maddy that much but they thought it was better than letting you stay with Rue or somebody. To make it look convincing, you had Maddy pick you up and you even gave your phone to her. You took like $20 with you just in case. You didn't need your phone because you were always occupied with Ash, he's actually a pretty interesting person and y'all always have your little convos about the weirdest stuff; like the time you guys fought over should you wear socks with sandals:

"IF YOURE WEARING SLIDES, ITS NOT BAD IN FACT, ITS MANDATORY"

"NO ITS NOT??? ASHTRAY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU WEAR SOCKS WITH SANDALS, ITS A FASHION HATE CRIME"

"BUT YOU WERE ALL FOR IT IN 2019"

"WE DONT TALK ABOUT MY 2019 ERA"

You two burst out laughing after this and got ice cream.

You got out of the car and saw your boyfriend, he looked so tired and angry:
"Hey, Babe"
"Hi love. You okay"
"I'm fine"
"Ash you don't have to lie to me. If something's wrong tell me."
"Fine. Get in the car"

You two drove around listening to music. Ash finally told you about his day and you responded by hugging his bicep:
"I'm really sorry you had a bad day babe"
"Why are you sorry? You didn't cause it"
"Ik but still. Look tomorrow will be so much better because I can actually stay over."
"Fr?"
"Yeah . I was supposed to be at "Maddy's" but I think I'll spend the night with you instead"

Ash showed a small smile to this but tried to hide it. You hated when he tried to hide his smile; he had a really nice one so you didn't see why he had to cover it up. Nevertheless, you staying over really cheered him up a bit. You started blurting out lyrics to the song that was playing. Ash pretended like he hated when you did that but he secretly loved it so much. How you were so carefree and an absolute goofball; it made him remember why he fell in love with you.
"Where we going?" You asked with a smile on your face.
"Dw about it. I'll let you know when we're there" Ash smiled back. By now he had completely forgotten about his day, all he thought about was being with you.
After what seemed like a few seconds(but was actually 20 minutes) you arrived at a flower field. This was completely out of character for Ash as he grimiced at the thought of doing something so frilly.
"We're here"
"A flower field?"
"Yep. I found this place a while back."

Ash pulled a blanked out of the back of his car. You both walked in the field; Ash was so perplexed with you the whole time. You looked almost angelic wading through the beautiful flowers. Once you guys got to the top of the hill he pulled you in:
"I love you so much, Y/n"
"I love you too, Ash"
And with that, he pulled you into a long kiss. He pulled you to the ground and cuddled with you under the stars.
