the pick me's at my school threw a fit bc i missed practice for one of my clubs and basically tried to gaslight me into thinking the stupid club and communication was more important than my mental health bc i told them i'm considering quitting

and when i called them out for it they gaslit me more lmfao and had their friends try to come for my neck

it was a whole thing

for no reason

they took him away for examination.

we've been waiting for over an hour in these hard-ass chairs.

aaron sat next to you the minute vinnie got dragged away.

this has been arguably one of the worst hours of my life.

aaron's mom came back after what felt like ages, and your spine straightened, adrenaline coursing through you.

"how is he? how bad is it?"

"just take a seat, sweetie. this is a mouthful."

you sat back down, anxious to hear what she had to say.

"we couldn't find anything wrong with him."

"wait, what? isn't that a good thing?"

"it is, usually. but he can't remember anything, and there's no signs of trauma on his brain scans."

"what does that mean?"

"it means we don't know why he can't remember anything. it might just be temporary because he hit his head a few times, or it could be permanent, we really can't tell. but as far as an actual diagnosis, without any real proof of an injury on his scans, we can't take any course of treatment for his memory loss."
