Vaidehi's pov
I froze at my place when I heard my name called by Dr.
I wondered what he was doing here.
"Okay this is my cue to leave..bye." Agastya said walking in other direction and I just nodded before I practically ran toward dr.
"God! Are you alright!?" He walked quickly toward me and suddenly he embraced me, softly caressing my hair.
"I am okay..are you fine?" I asked in a calmed voice.
"I am now.." he replied.
My heartbeat raced being so close to him.
"I..
"Please come with me!" He said out of nowhere and I pulled back from the hug in shock. "I don't think I can go on without you in my life!"
"Dr..but.." I couldn't believe what he said.
"There's no but..Vaidehi...I want to be with you!"
"I don't think that's a good idea..." my lips quivered as I uttered those words and tears threaten to be spilled from my eyes because I knew I didn't mean my words but for both of us sake I had to say this..as I don't want him to feel humiliated like me.
"Please dr, go back to your world..I'll go to mine..." I said and walked away before I start crying in front of him.
"Stop!" His said, sternly. "Look me in the eyes and tell me you mean your words!"
He held me by arms and stared into my eyes and I looked at him dumbfounded, unable to utter a word.
"I know what's stopping you...to come with me..it's my past isn't?!" He looked disappointed.
"No!" I said.
"Then?"
"Nothing—
"—So marry me!" He interrupted. "Please." His voice soften and he lowered his head resting on mine as he uttered the last word.
For some reasons I felt very relieved..and tears started pouring from my eyes as I looked down. I remembered the day when I first told him that I love him with all my heart..that's a different thing that he couldn't understand that I just confessed my feelings for him because I said it in my language so he doesn't feel obligated to reply or to say anything to me but today..now..in this moment...everything seems to be changed. But somewhere in my heart I still can't believe it...
Emmanuel's pov
'I did it! I said it.'
Finally, after so many years I felt at ease...the thought of being with her gives me hopes of happiness and I want to feel happy too.
"Please say something." I asked in fear..what if she rejects me?
But instead she started crying looking down.
"Hey...please don't cry." I lift her chin up.
"Why do you want to marry me?"
"Because I love you!" I replied without thinking. "And I don't want to spend my entire life without you Miss Vaidehi Rana!"
"But you deserve someone like you..smart, intelligent and kind."
"You are someone—i want to with you Vaidehi..." I cupped her face and wiped her tears.
"Okay.." she said.
"Is that a yes?" I asked.
"Yes.." she replied.
"Good!" I kissed her forehead.
Meera's Pov
"We should look for Anna...he just walked out of the car without telling where he's going?!" Karthik stated.
