"Here," Hap handed her a towel, "Take a shower and get yourself ready."
Y/N grabbed the towel with shaking hands and stepped into the hotel shower. She washed and shaved everything before freaking out and banging her head against the wall, causing it to bleed. She stepped out of the shower and glanced over at Hap who was at a desk, when he looked away, she took off down the hall, struggling to get her t-shirt over her head. Y/N felt blood dripping down the side of her face, she ran down to the lobby and went to the lady at the front desk.
"Please help me," She begged, tears running down her face, "Please, call someone."
The woman nodded her and dialed a number on the phone, she then proceeded to speak spanish to someone. Y/N glanced around the room and saw people staring at her, the woman at the desk slowly put the phone down and gave her a cautious look.
"Who'd- Who'd you call?" Y/N asked, backing up. She swallowed the lump in her throat and took off out of the hotel. She walked down the street, her hands shaking, she had no idea where she was but she knew she had to leave.
"They said you were having some sort of breakdown," She heard that familiar male voice say, she turned around and backed up into a wall, "I said, 'Not my daughter, the golden child, with the brain damage from the softball accident."
Hap walked up to her, Y/N looked around and found an old gun lying on the ground. She grabbed it and cocked it.
"Don't do anything stupid Y/N," Hap warned, "Think of Prairie, if you kill me. They starve to death, is that what you want?"
Y/N shook her head, mumbling 'no'.
"Is that what you want?" Hap asked in a louder voice, Y/N shook her head and started shaking with fear.
"No.""Put the gun down."
Y/N didn't move.
"Are you going to shoot me?" Hap asked, "Do it." He walked close to her and put the gun to his chest, "Shoot me and you know what will happen if you do."
Y/N didn't move, her hand was shaking, "Do it, shoot me. Kill me." He taunted, "We both know you can't kill someone. You can't even hurt a fly."
Y/N slowly put down the gun, Hap took it and threw it to the side. Y/N stood there, swaying slightly to the sides.
"Come here." He said in a gentle voice, Y/N shook her head and slid down the wall, now crying. Hap stood over her and frowned.
"Everything alright here?" Hap turned to see a police officer walking towards them.
"Yes, everything is fine here." Hap said, "My daughter is mentally ill, she has little breakdowns, here and there."
The officer nodded his head and walked away, Hap knelt down, "Come on, let's go."
"No!" Y/N snapped, "I'm not going anywhere with you!" She slapped him across the face.
"Y/N, don't be stupid." Hap snapped back, "Let's go."
"No!" Y/N cried, "I wanna go home!"
Hap took a moment as Y/N continued to cry, after a few minutes. Y/N looked up at him with sad, tired, eyes.
"Let's go." Hap said, Y/N's lip quivered, she scooted close to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her head in the crook of his neck. He picked her up and fixed her so she would be comfortable in his arms. He carried her back to the hotel room and laid her on the bed.
"Sleep."
Y/N glanced over at the door, Hap noticed, "It's locked, I have the key hidden. Don't try it."
He noticed her head was bleeding, he touched it and she flinched. Hap got up and went to the bathroom, he grabbed a band-aid and a warm cloth, pressing it to her forehead.
"There, better?"
"A little..." Y/N mumbled, turning over in bed. Hap nodded his head and went to his own bed, laying down and going to sleep. She wanted to leave but she was trapped.
