09: Day Seven

"Izana~ whatchu writing???" Emma jumped at the two teens sitting on the corner of the room silently writing as the kids went to jump at them smushing the two into a hug

"Stop, the papers are gonna get crumpled!"

Izana shouted calmly but the kids kept giggling and playing around

Senju and Baji grabbed a color and drew on the papers flowers and trees, Senju even drew Izana and Kakucho on a page that they're currently working on

"Look! I drew you two!!" She cheerfully exclaimed showing the messy drawing on top of the neatly written page

Kakucho and Izana looked at the paper like they just lost a soul

"Get off Mikey." Izana spat with an annoyed tone but his face remained calm

Kakucho took the paper with teary eyes and tried to erase the colors but it was no use. "What are we gonna do?! It needs to be passed today or else the other author might get the chance to rewrite it-"

Izana sighed and picked Mikey up by the collar of his shirt and brought him outside "Go play here." He glanced coldly at the other kids as they all gulped and ran outside to where Mikey is.

"Apologize" Shinichiro spoke leaning at the window watching the kids looking all gloomy because Izana got mad

You glanced from behind Shinichiro and asked "What happened?"

"These kids mess with their work, and they're doing it in a rush. Now Izana have to do it again"

"There's still time though-"

"Izana's not a fan of rushing things but he has to because of that other author who's trying to rewrite your story. He agreed to do it for fun and time killer but now he's stressing out" Shinichiro nervously chuckled

"Hey Izana! Write a story about me and a fictional character" Shinichiro suggested while wrapping an arm around the two who was walking home

"Nah that's boring" Izana spat bluntly

"What, you're so rude. Only that will make me happy and you're refusing to do it." he mumbled trying to make Izana feel bad

"Give me the name of the leading lady." He spat taking out a pen and a small pocket notebook

"Y/n L/n" he answered excitingly

"Huh? That character from that one anime?"

"Yes" Shinichiro smiled from ear to ear as Izana scoffs

"Simp."

"Is it done?"

"No, go awayyyy it's not done yetttt!!!" Izana whined pushing Shinichiro away from the pages they're writing

"You're too excited Shinichiro-san.. trust us on this okay?" Kakucho showed a thumbs up

"C'mon just show me a page! Jeez so-" Shinichiro didn't get to finish his sentence when Izana threw him a scratch paper

"That's the scratch. Just read it silently" he groaned before continuing the drawing

Shinichiro happily sat down on the side, invested in reading

His eyebrows furrowed while reading until he finished it

"Why am I not here?" He disappointingly mumbled

"It's called backstory..."

Third person POV

"Don't you dare try to see her again" the lady spat as the guy grab his bag and walk away

"Stop controlling me. You can't stop me from meeting my friend, mom."

"She doesn't even remember you"

"You're lucky she doesn't remember how you made her life miserable as well."

With that, the guy completely walked out of the door of the hospital room to go where Y/n's room is

"How is she?" He asked at the girl sitting beside Y/n's bed

"Still on her beauty sleep..." the girl joked yet the guy can clearly hear sadness in her voice

"You don't have to pretend you're okay Clara. I'm your brother, you can't lie to me." He sighed walking to her to comfort his little sister

"You should tell her the truth when she wakes up, okay?" He tried convincing her again into telling Y/n that she's not really alone

"What if she doesn't-"

"She will, trust me.. she's been so strong her whole life.. she won't leave like that."

"Y/n.. I'm top of my class! Can you wake up and congratulate me?" Clara buried her face on her palm after seeing that nothing changed with Y/n's situation

Since Clara ran away from home, and Y/n has always been there beside her when they met. She thinks of her as her own older sister

Devon, Clara's mother, is putting the blame on Y/n for Clara's rebellion without knowing that she's the one keeping Clara from going to the wrong turn in life.

Shiro however still keeps an eye on his little sister from time to time and finds out that she's living with Y/n, his childhood friend.

"Congrats" Shiro appeared out of nowhere with a book in his hand

"We both know she's proud of you so stop crying. You look ugly" he tried to speak 'comforting' words to the younger one again

She looked at her older brother in annoyance until she noticed the book in his hands

"What the- this looks exactly like Y/n!" She exclaimed grabbing the book from him

"It does.. I picked it up from where we got hit. I've read the first few pages. It's exactly what happened to her when we were young"

Clara flipped through the pages quickly reading some of the information from every page when Shiro spoke again

"It's really weird actually... look at the front page, where the author's name is written, I tried looking him up but only a fictional guy showed up" he informed while Clara quickly did and read the author's name

Thanks to Y/n who's always talking about Shinichiro with everytime she can, Clara was able to recognize the name

"Izana Kurokawa, this is Shinichiro's adoptive brother"
