Celeste nervously waited to see who her teacher was going to pick for her to partner up with for the project he was assigning them to do by the end of the week.
Most of the boys in her class were loud and rowdy and never did any work which was always terrible to her adhd. Then, if they weren't doing their work, their focus would be in the back of the class flirting with her.
The only boy who didn't really bother anyone was Tyler Sharpe. He also went by lil Tecca which she found adorable.
Her friends would tend to try to put her on because whenever they'd hang out he'd come around too since they were all close. They knew him since diapers but Celeste was just finding out about him 4 years ago when they all became friends.
Whenever they hung out they never really interacted as much so this would be their first time actually having conversations. She was snapped out of her thoughts when hearing her teacher call her name.
"Celeste, you'll be paired with Tyler since you two seem to get along." He said making her heart jump. They looked at each other, Celeste smiling brightly on the inside before she made her way to him.
During class time, they got some of their work done and Celeste would ask him somewhat personal questions from time to time just to get to know him a little bit.
Class was soon over and now it was the end of the day and now they were leaving the school "You wanna come over so we can work on it some more?" He asked making her perk up.
"Yeah, I'll let my mom know first." She said making him nod. She started to walk to the bus lane but he called her back. "Aye, I drive lil girl." He said making her laugh.
"I see you Ty, I needa practice driving so bad." She pouted as she followed him. "You wanna ride around the parking lot later? I don't mind helping you out." He offered.
"I wouldn't want to wreck your car so I'll just wait but thank you." She laughed. Tyler already found her cute. She was also sort of quiet in the friend group so this was each other's first time seeing each other really act out of their shell.

The two never knew that all it took was a week to get to know each other good. The beginning of that week, they finished the project then the rest of their time they were just getting to know each other even more and hanging out.
They now have been the closest out of everyone and had been making plans back to back without inviting anyone since that's how their friends would do them since they never really talked.
"You and lil Celeste gotta thing goin on or what?" Andre asked Tyler making him look at him. Rai, beside Andre, peeked from the side of Andre to see what Tyler was going to say.
"Niggas can't have a girl as a best friend anymore?" Tyler asked. "If Dre had one I'd beat his AND her ass. So no, you can't." She said making him suck his teeth.
"Nah bruh I'm just sayin, y'all be lookin at each other wit that same lil horny look every time one of y'all look away. You might as well date her." Andre shrugged, Rai nodding quickly.
"You two would be too cute, plus your first time can be with her." She teased. Andre laughed making Tyler suck his teeth. "We don't even be lookin at each other no typa way, y'all niggas wildin." Tyler shook his head.
Tyler would he lying his ass off if he said he hadn't formed some type of crush on her for the past couple of months and she would be too.
He just hated telling people those type of feelings because he knew how his friends loved to hold things over his head and tease him about it.
