Third Person POV

It was 5 am, the faint glow of dawn barely illuminating the agency grounds. A sharp knock echoed through Yuri’s door, dragging her from the depths of her cozy slumber. Groaning, she burrowed deeper into her blankets, her body protesting against the idea of waking up.

“Come in...” she rasped, her voice hoarse from sleep.

The door creaked open slightly, allowing just enough space for her uncle—and boss—Eden to peek his head in. He was careful not to let too much light spill into her room, knowing how much his niece despised being woken up this early.

“Yuri,” he said softly, his tone unusually gentle, “get freshened up and meet me in my office in ten minutes.”

Yuri groaned, pulling the blanket over her head like a stubborn child, “Why? I wanna sleep more!” she whined, her voice muffled.

Eden sighed, a small smile tugging at his lips despite himself, “I know, kiddo, but this is important. Get ready, and you can have breakfast in my office during the discussion. Sound good?”

“Fiiine...” she drawled, kicking her blanket off in frustration.

Satisfied with her reluctant compliance, Eden quietly shut the door and returned to his office.

Yuri yawned, stretching her arms above her head before dragging herself out of bed. Her hair was a tangled mess, sticking up in wild directions, and the corner of her mouth was streaked with drool. She shuffled toward the bathroom, glaring at her reflection in the mirror.

I love being an agent, but seriously, does it have to involve waking up at ungodly hours? she thought, splashing cold water on her face. The shock of it jolted her awake slightly as she reached for her toothbrush.

Still in her pajamas, she made her way down the dimly lit hallway, her footsteps heavy with exhaustion. Each step felt like a betrayal to her beloved bed. Why does Eden need me this early? This better be worth it.

A flicker of hope sparked in her groggy mind. What if it’s for a promotion?

The thought jolted her awake, her pace quickening. She had been itching for a promotion, not just to prove her worth but to rub it in a certain pink-haired's face.

Arriving at Eden’s office, Yuri knocked louder than intended, her fist connecting with the door in a sharp rhythm.

“Come in.” came Eden’s voice from inside.
