It was nothing short of a miracle how quickly San healed within the week. By the fourth day after he woke up, he was already able to walk around, albeit a little gingerly. I stayed by his side the entire time he was in the infirmary, helping him with meals, fetching anything he needed, and keeping him company during the long hours. However, when it came to his bandages, I had to call Rihyun to change them—something about the idea of handling wounds like that made me queasy.

Still, the joy of seeing him recover so quickly was indescribable. Knowing I’d been able to help him through it made me feel proud, and the fact that he was officially my boyfriend now only made me happier. We hadn’t told anyone at the agency yet—not even Rihyun—and it was oddly thrilling to keep it a secret. For now, it was just ours.

And speaking of being a couple, I had promised him we’d go on a date once he was fully healed. To my surprise, though, San insisted that he’d be the one to take me out instead. He called it a thank-you gift, though I didn’t really understand why. I hadn’t done anything special—just taken care of him.

Still, I couldn’t help but feel a little excited as I stood in front of my closet, contemplating what to wear. San had told me to dress casual, but I still wanted to look good. After a few moments of deliberation, I pulled out a black sleeveless top and paired it with denim shorts. To make it a bit more comfortable, I added a soft grey hoodie over the top, then slipped on my trusty black sneakers.

Looking at my reflection, I nodded to myself. Casual enough, I guess. I wonder what San will wear.

As I stepped out of my room, ready to head out, I nearly bumped into Chaewon in the hallway.

“Oh, hey Chaewon!” I greeted her with a wave, a bit too frantically for my own liking.

She gave me one of her sweet smiles, “Hi, Yuri unnie! Are you going somewhere?”

I nodded quickly, “Yeah, I am.”

Her curiosity was immediate, “Ohh, cool! Where are you going?”

I opened my mouth to respond but paused, furrowing my brows as I scratched the back of my neck, “Wait...I don’t even know where the heck I’m going.”

Chaewon giggled at my confusion, “What do you mean you don’t know where you’re going?”

“Uh, well, San knows.” I said with a shrug, trying to play it off.

Her eyes widened in shock, “San?? San?!” she repeated, her tone incredulous.

“Uh...yeah?”
