Hotel Transylvania/The Batman: The Long Halloween

Chapter 1: Happy Halloween

Present day...
It was the night of October 31st. Dennis was so excited trick or treating for tonight as he wore his miniaturized Dracula outfit as his costume. Mavis and Ericka wanted to accompany Dennis tonight at the human village for trick or treating.

ERICKA: So, Dennis. Are you excited for trick or treating tonight for Halloween?

DENNIS: Yeah! I can't wait to show my costume to the other kids tonight. And there's gonna be candy!

MAVIS: Aww... that's good to know, sweetie. I hope you have fun tonight and don't eat too much candy, okay? It's bad for your stomach.

DENNIS: Yes, Mommy.

Dracula entered the room in his Bat form surprisingly and greeted his family.

DRACULA: Dennisovich! Happy Halloween, my little devil dog!

DENNIS: Thanks, Papa Drac. We're going out for trick or treating.

DRACULA: Oh, that sounds wonderful, my little Dennisovich. I hope you have fun tonight and stay close to your mother and Mama Ericka.

Dennis nodded and hugged Dracula.

ERICKA: Sweetie, you sure you don't wanna don't wanna come with us?

MAVIS: Yeah, dad. It'll be fun tonight and the kids are gonna enjoy it.

DRACULA: I'm not really in the mood of going out tonight, Mavis. I'm a bit tired from the guests checking in?

ERICKA: Oh, that's too bad. So I guess it's just me, Mavis, Dennis, and Johnny going out.

MAVIS: Actually, Johnny couldn't make it for tonight. He said needs to take care of something first in his office.

ERICKA: How is he doing with running his family's business anyway here in Transylvania?

MAVIS: It's doing great actually. His siblings are also doing the same back in California. So far, there's not a lot of problems he needs to worry about.

DRACULA: Well that's good to know. I think his parents would be proud him.

A few minutes later, Mavis, Ericka, Dennis said their goodbyes to Dracula as they headed off to the human village for Halloween.

Meanwhile....
Somewhere else in an apartment, a man talking a peaceful bath on his tub closing his eyes until he heard a noise from outside.

VITI: Who the hell is there? Don't screw with me, man! I'm warning...

From his surprise, a dark figure opens the door and shot the man two times on the chest and the head.

As the man died in his pool of blood, the mysterious intruder placed his gun on the ground and a jack lantern as a calling card.

(???): Happy Halloween....

This is story is a reboot of my Hotel Transylvania/Batman stories because I wasn't satisfied from my story and I'll try to improve this one. Basically this story will be an adaptation from the Long Halloween comic book but with the Hotel Transylvania characters and a few changes from the story. I also wanted to introduce some characters that I haven't used before in my previous HT/Batman stories. And yes, that means there will be NO Joker! (In this story at least).
