CHAPTER 2

Asad and Zoya reached the marriage hall after making them look presentable so that no one would question them. As soon as they entered the venue, Najma came running to them 

"Bhaijaan where were you, which groom leaves his own marriage and what was that important work that couldn't wait till you get married? and Ammi is very much angry with you right now. Let's go  bhaijaan Qazi sahib is waiting for you"

"And you, my dear bhabhijaan you really need a touch-up with your makeup, let's go fast we don't have much time" laughed Najma. Zoya laughed at her best friend's cute antics and followed her.

And there was a young man standing not so far away from them, concluding there was definitely something wrong with his bhaijaan and mona darling. In the morning, he could see the satisfied and contented smile on both of their faces but now that smile has disappeared and instead of that smile, he could see guilt and tears in his brother's eyes and his partner-in-crime aka his mona darling's smile and laugh sounded fake and filled with pain. He was sure something bad happened and decided to wait till the wedding completes and after that, he'll talk with the newly wedded couple.

Everyone was so happy that they failed to see turmoil on the bride and groom's faces however as soon as they sat in their respective places that tension, guilt, and pain were gone for a moment and were replaced by love that had for each other. 

Their Nikah started 

Dilshad couldn't believe her son, who never believed in all these is getting married to the woman he loves. He may not realize it, but everyone could see how much he loves his musibat.

The Khan siblings were gushing over their bhaijaan and soon-to-be bhabhijaan and Rashid Ahmed Khan has his eyes filled with tears seeing his son getting married today. He was the happiest father to know that his son is getting married to a wonderful woman who was perfectly made for him.

Anwar and Zeenat maybe Zoya's sister and brother-in-law however they brought her up and loved her as if she was their daughter. Zeenat was shedding tears watching his baby getting married today and Anwar stood there with eyes filled with tears lovingly gazing at his daughter - Yes DAUGHTER getting married leading to a new life being someone's wife, daughter-in-law, and sister-in-law. 

Dilshad asked Qazi sahib to start the Nikah 

"Asad Ahmed Khan wald Rashid Ahmed Khan, apka Nikah Zoya Farooqui wald..." Qazi stopped midway to ask for Zoya's father's name and all of them gets quiet.

"Anwar Farooqui," said Zoya smiling at her jeeju who was no less than a father to her while having tears in her eyes

The Qazi sahib continued "wald Anwar Farooqui ke saath teh hua hai , kya apko yeh Nikah Qubool hai"

"Zoya Farooqui wald Anwar Farooqui, apka Nikah Asad Ahmed Khan wald Rashid Ahmed Khan ke sath teh hua hai, kya apko yeh Nikah Qubool Hai"

And they were married. Everyone's happiness had no bounds today. Asad couldn't believe that his Ms. Farooqui has now become Mrs. Khan, Mrs. Zoya Asad Ahmed khan. 

He swore to himself the moment he said Qubool hai that he would never let any third person come between them. No one can separate him from his wife suddenly his face fell thinking about the incident that happened before. Even if he trusts his best friend so much, deep down he knows that he could never do such a thing to anyone even if he was drugged, he could never touch anyone except his Zoya.

The partition was lifted and Asad and Zoya couldn't stop staring at each other having tears welled up in their eyes. Suddenly Zoya was hugged by her crying sister and her jeeju. All of them congratulated the new couple.

Suddenly Dilshad said "Now that my dearest son and my daughter-in-law are married, We better not her you both calling each other Mr. Khan and Ms. Farooqui IS THAT CLEAR" making everyone laugh.

Najma joined her mother "And bhaijaan don't tell me you were planning to call bhabhi Mrs. Khan from now" listening to his sister Asad got embarrassed and smiled making Najma, Nikkaht, and Nuzhat scream 

"SERIOUSLY BHAIJAAN"

"On a serious note, you both better start calling each other names- ASAD ZOYA"

"look it's not that hard" joked Ayaan 

Zoya was smiling looking at his family and suddenly remembered something and muttered "shit" luckily which no one heard.

"RABART, come here" Zoya called Ayaan making everyone turn their head toward her. Zoya shook her head telling them nothing is wrong.

"COMING MONA DARLING... I MEAN MONA BHAAAABHIEEEE" Ayaan screamed stressing the word bhabhi.

Zoya whispered in his ears " Don't ask me anything now, I'll tell you everything in detail. wait for Tanveer outside and don't let her come inside and most importantly don't tell her about the Nikah" "don't get shocked seeing her situation and just act like you are angry and tell her to come some other day as everyone is soo angry right now and don't want to see her"

"OKAY.... did you get that?" asked Zoya

Ayaan looked confused for a moment and replied "I did understand what you were saying but why?"

"Just do it. I promise I'll tell you everything in detail" said Zoya and Ayaan went out to wait for the Dayan(witch)- yes, he never liked her. He always gave him bad vibes.

And there she saw the witch coming, but her situation shocked him - torn clothes, disheveled hair and crying but suddenly he remembered Zoya's words he started his act 

"Tanveer what are you doing here?" angrily asked Ayaan and he decided to add some spices to his wonderful acting 

"After all that happened, how can you be here?" 

"Tanveer, everyone is soo angry inside you better not show your face to anyone for some days"

"And don't you dare go to Khan villa, find a temporary place for yourself for somedays," said Ayaan getting some money from his wallet to give to her, which she shamelessly accepted leaving Ayaan looking at her with disgust.

Tanveer inwardly laughed and smiled knowing her plan succeeded. And started her act

"Ayaan, please I need to meet Jammy today" she cried 

"NO ..... NOT TODAY   GO AWAYY" screamed Ayaan making her flinch. Ayaan knew something was wrong with her.

After giving a wonderful acting performance Ayaan went inside with a proud smile leaving happy Tanveer behind.

Tanveer looked at the money Ayaan gave her and suddenly started laughing and evilly said "Now no one can stop me from marrying Asad. Zoya is already out of their lives and I'm sure Asad would have drowned himself in guilt.  I WON ZOYA, I FINALLY SEPARATED ASAD AND ZOYA" she laughed and left from there. 

But her evil play was seen and recorded by non-other than Ayaan. He was about to go inside but decided to do a final check if Tanveer has left or not. He came back to see Tanveer laughing like a mad person and immediately he took his phone and started recording her, acting crazy like a mental person. Ayaan had soo many questions but decided to wait as Mona promised him that she'll tell him everything and went inside.
