Laura swipes off of Instagram and creates a contact with the name ??? to begin a FaceTime. As the phone rings she grows more and more anxious, wondering who in the world Nick just made her call.
A face pops up on the screen, long-ish brown hair, huge smile, blue eyes, sitting in a car is the Christopher Sturniolo. As he is about to say hello all he hears is the hang up sound.
"FUCK YOU NICK!" Is what the girl yells out loud, just hoping the boy can hear her all the way in Boston. Laura's phone begins to ring again and she answers the call.
"I hate your brother, Chris," is what she says when the FaceTime connects. "Which one?" He says with the stupidest grin on his face. "God all of you! Wait- not Matt. Matt does no wrong and is the best triplet."
"Are you sure about that?" Chris quirks a brow, "yes, I am, one hundred and fifty percent," Laura deadpans, taking a sip of water.
"Well that's just mean isn't it?" The boy laughs when he gets interrupted by a notification that even Laura can hear on her side. "I just got a notification saying the food is ready to be picked up, I'll talk to you later Laura," Chris muttered as he was reading it.
"Okay Chris! I'll see you soon," She replied, thinking nothing of it as she is only used to FaceTiming someone she often sees in person. Which in this case, she will see him in person soon, there's no reason to think about that too much but she just doesn't want to accidentally ruin the surprise she just paid hundreds of dollars for.
"No you won't goofy, you live across the country," the boy looks at her through the screen. "Well duh, it's just a habit to say that, el oh el." Laura says shakily, god I can't keep a secret for the life of me! Why would I do this!
"Did you just say lol out loud?" Chris looks at her like she's stupid, "no-"
"Ugh, Matt is texting me about this stupid food. Okay bye, Laura I'm actually hanging up now." He smiles at the camera as Laura says goodbye and hangs up.
At least he didn't notice!
