The ruins

You look up to see a tall goat Lady. You wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say. "Ah- do not be afraid my child.. I am Toriel, Caretaker of the Ruins. I pass through this place every day to see if anyone has fallen down."

"You are the first HUMAN to come here in a long time."

'In a long.... Time?' You thought to yourself. 'Was there someone before me..?' You have toriel a small smile. "Y/N is my name. You can call me N/N for short, Toriel." You reassure you Toriel. She gives you a smile. "Come! I will guide you through the catacombs."

You follow behind her as she leads you into the RUINS. "This way." She walks forward. You suddenly have the feeling of trust. You walk into a room with a small star like object. You give Toriel a look of 'what is this?'.
Toriel gives you a kind smile. You touch the star, and it brings up some words for you before you save your progress. (I'll be sticking with how the game works. Deal with it.)

'The shadow of the RUINS looms above, filling you with determination. HP fully restored.' You were confused to as your Energy and life was perfectly fine when Toriel came to save you. You didn't think anything of it, and pressed the SAVE button, then followed Toriel into a room with atleast 6 buttons.

"Welcome to your new home, innocent one." Toriel says. You look at her in confusion as you did with flowey. "Allow me to educate you in the operation of the RUINS." You watch Toriel do a puzzle for you. "The RUINS are full of puzzles. Ancient fusions between diversions and doorkeys.

One must solve them to move from room to room." You then catch onto what she was saying. "So... if you leave.. I'll have to do these on my own?" You ask. Toriel just simply nods. "Please adjust yourself to the sight of them."

You continue onto the next room."to make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches." You suddenly look at her with a little bit of worry. "Do not worry, i have labelled the ones that you need to flip."

With saying that, she leads the way to the the next room, but waits for you to finish pulling the levers. "Splendid! I am proud of you little on. Let us move onto the next room!" You nod and follow her

"As a human living in the underground, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation, however worry not! The process is simple. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT."
She says. It took you some time to process where you are, but got used to it. She continues on, "while you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation. Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conflict. Practice talking to the dummy."

(CHANGING TO 1ST PERSON VIEW NOW.)

I walk up to the dummy and greeted with options like:
FIGHT    ❤️ACT ITEM     MERCY
I pressed act then talk. Toriel seemed pleased. I'm glad... she seems like a mother figure.
"Ah! Very good! You are very good." She leaves and I follow behind. She waits for me then says "there is another puzzle in this room.. I wonder if you can solve it?"
She asks politely. I watch her walk off down a hallway, with me, following behind. I'm then  greeted by a... frog? It seems so cute!! I pressed ❤️ACT then gave it a compliment! It seems happy, though It wasn't sure if it understood me.

(Mk. Back to 3rd person view.)

Toriel gives it a look like 'don't you dare hurt my child!' You giggle to yourself. She proceeds to lead the way. You end up infront of a puzzle of spikes. You look at her with disbelief.
"This is the puzzle but.. here. Take my hand for a moment." You did. She leads you through the spikes to the other side. "Puzzles seems a little to dangerous for now.."

she walks into another room. Not gonna lie, you were getting pretty tired of walking from room to room.. especially since the flowers weren't exactly strong enough to HOLD you from your fall.
"You've done excellent thus far, my child.. However.... I have a difficult request to ask of you. . . ."
She takes a deep breath "I would like you to walk to the end of the room by yourself..... forgive me for this.." she runs off. To the end of the of the hallway. You chase after her. She ends up being behind a pillar.
You walk past the pillar, then she jumps out. "Greetings, my child. Do not worry. I did not leave you. I was merely behind this pillar the whole time! (TOLD YA) thank you for trusting me." You nod. "However there was an important reason for this exercise.. . . To trust your independence."

You smile at her. "I can do just fine. Thank you Toriel." "Please remain here... it's dangerous to explore by yourself. I have an idea!! I'll give you a CELLPHONE." She smiles and gives you one. You say thank you to her. "If you have a need for anything, just call. Be good.. alright?" You nod. She smiles then leaves.
Instead of listening to Toriel, you decided to move onto the next room.

After that long journey you decide to take a nap on a pile of leaves.
