"there's a nice italian restaurant down the street" wilbur suggests.
"oh alright, we can go there" veronica smiles. "oh and wilbur" she starts, gaining his attention.
"i listened to your music, and i have to say- you are very talented, not just your band but your solo stuff too. tommy mentioned how you aren't the biggest fan of your city gave me asthma but i think it's a beautiful album" veronica tells him.
"oh- thank you veronica. so much- it means a lot, especially coming from someone as talented as you" he smiles.
"of course wilbur" she smiles back.
time skip - after food
"alright, this is my hotel. i appreciate you walking me back wilbur" she says, turning to the brunette.
"of course veronica, it was a pleasure spending time with you and going to your show. i loved it." he smiles.
"wilbur?" she says, fiddling with hers fingers.
"yes?" he says, looking down into her eyes.
"can i have your number- i just really enjoy your company and would to hangout again once i go back to brighton" veronica asks politely.
"oh yeah- of course! i'd love to hang out with you again" he smiles.
he writes down his number in her notes app.
"thanks wilbur" she smiles.
"of course- and please, call me will" he says.
"ok, will. goodnight" she says, giving him a hug.
"goodnight, veronica" he hums, hugging her back.
