"Hu Tao this isn't going to work-"
The girl didn't listen and just shoved Xingqiu into his closet and shut the door
"Just change into something comfortable!! I'm going to talk to you parents and I'm dragging Chongyun with us"
"You're going to do what now?"
Xingqiu heard Chongyun enter the room and held in his giggles at how confused he sounded
"Okay so basically, Xingqiu is going to break Liyue's tradition"
Xingqiu let out an exasperated sigh and he forced open the door
"Hu Tao wants to speak with my parents, about me being a prince and not a princess"
Chongyun stared at Xingqiu then Hu Tao then back at Xingqiu before walking closer to his boyfriend. Once Chongyun was close enough, he leaned in and whispered into Xingqiu's ear
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
Xingqiu looked at Chongyun and nodded. He knew that the other hadn't asked this question because he was doubtful, but because he was worried
"I want to do this... I'm just nervous about facing my parents"
"Don't be too nervous, I'll try to do a little talking but if you really want to stop pretending then you have to push through. You can do this Xingqiu, me and Chongyun are with you!"
He smiled and turned to go back into the closet. Picking out some of his most worn clothes, he took a nice looking shirt and paired it with shorts. He then tied up his hair into a bun
He stepped out of the closet and saw that Chongyun was staring at him. Xingqiu blushed and tried to turned away but before he could, Chongyun held his shoulders
"I know it's literally just a short and shorts but jeez you look good-"
Hu Tao stepped in between them and pushed Chongyun away. She ignore Chongyun's protests and turned her attention to Xingqiu
"Where are those cute girls who were always with you? Akari and Akemi was it?"
"Mhmm, I'll go look for them"
Xingqiu ran out of his room and saw the two maids talking to Zi Qiao and her brother. The moment Xingqiu came into their view, both of them turned their attention to Xingqiu
"Is there something you need?"
Both of them asked simultaneously but Xingqiu shook his head
"I just want to tell you something, and no don't worry it's not bad"
The twins nodded and bowed to the other maids before following Xingqiu back towards his room
"Is it something about Master Chongyun?"
"No, it's about me"
Right at the door, Xingqiu turned around and faced the two girls
"I need to tell you the biggest secret I've kept from you both and I'm not really sure what to do. You know my mother pretty well so I'll explain more when you understand the situation"
Xingqiu watched as they both nodded before finally opening the door to reveal Hu Tao throwing pillows at Chongyun
"Hu Tao! I told you to stop throwing the pillows at me!!"
Chongyun was trying to protect himself from the bunch of pillows hurling straight at his face. Hu Tao just stuck her tongue out and threw one last pillow at him
"Hmph fine!"
Xingqiu sighed and signalled for Akari and Akemi to get comfortable. He walked over to Chongyun and picked the pillows off the ground
"Hu Tao, Chongyun, I still need to explain the situation to Akari and Akemi. Could you calm down please?"
They both nodded and settled down beside the twins. Akemi looked unsure and her sister looked really scared. Xingqiu smiled at her to reassure her
"I'm sorry that this is so sudden but I'm not actually female, I'm male. So I've been trying to find a way to ask my mother to allow me to be myself"
The twins staid silent and Hu Tao began to speak
"Actually Im not so sure about how we would do this but we wanted to ask for your help"
Akemi hummed then nodded
"Alright, I had my suspicions and it turns out I'm right. As for how to help, I'm not too sure but I've asked the queen about this before"
Akari peeked out from behind her sister and blinked at Xingqiu
"Are you really a male...?"
Xingqiu nodded
"Yeah I am, I've always been one"
She shifted a little and nodded back
"Okay I think I have an idea..."

I'm so so sorry I made you all wait and now I give you this short crap T^T
I'm beginning to get lectured by my mom about studying more and I still want my free time to draw. I love writing, I really do! This story isn't going to end now but it won't be long until I run out of ideas ^^'
This chapter will be the last update in a while, I'll come back to this eventually but I'm starting to loose motivation for writing Genshin stories ^^'
