cassidy went to her first two lessons, her second one, history, she shared with ava so when the bell rang, they started on their way to the cafeteria. ava was eager and excited for cassidy to sit with her. ava was once again a few steps ahead of cassidy.

"oh my god you are so slow" ava said taking a hold how the taller girls hand, while cassidy just stifled a laugh

"come on cass, pick up the pace. oh i'm sorry, am i aloud to call you 'cass'?"

"yeah of course" cassidy brushed off. a few seconds later they found themselves entering the cafeteria. ava stopped and dropped cassidy's hand, searching for her group of friends.

"there!" ava soon announce and started walking, cassidy trailing behind.

"guys i would like to introduce you cassidy! she's new. and she's really cool. she's from england!"

"cass this is lola, jess and devin. my best friends" ava continued, pointing to all the girls sat around the table. they all said hi and ava and cassidy took a seat.

"so you're from england?" lola asked

"born and raised" cass smiled as she remembered her old life there

"you certainly look like you're from england" devin added

"thank you, i think" cassidy nervously laughed

"she means that she thinks that you look like the stereotypical english teen girl. you know, blonde hair, blue eyes. skinny, dressed smart-ish, talks in proper english. you seem sweet, kind and polite. lady like. i mean look at how you're sitting, crossed legged." jess explained to cassy

"but all in a good way! they mean that in a nice way!" ava quickly added

"oh yeah! all in a good way! i. sorry if it sounded like i was trying to insult you!" jess apologised

"don't worry, people have said worse anyway" cass smiled at them all. and they all carried on talking until they had to leave for third period.

third and fourth period went by quickly and cassidy was excited to have some people to sit with at lunch. she left her classroom and started on her way to the cafeteria, when she heard someone calling her name. she spun around and saw the same boy who's seat she stole in music,  carrying her skateboard. she mentally smacked herself around the face for forgetting it.

"hey it's cassidy, right?" the boy asked her and she nodded

"uh i'm sam" he smiled and handed her her skateboard

"ah thank you, so much. i can't believe i forgot it, i feel so stupid" mentally smacking herself in the face again

"oh don't worry about it. oh and i'm sorry for how i reacted yesterday when i saw you in my usual seat. it was stupid of me"

"oh no, please, don't apologise. i should be the one the apologising! i'm really sorry for acting the way i did, it was so uncalled for, and i can assure you that that is not how i usually act, not that that's an exception for how i talked or anything. and now i'm rambling" cassy chuckled the last part

"how about we call it even and end it at that?" sam smiled and put out his hand

"it would be a pleasure" cassidy said taking sam's hand and curtsying,  bringing in her camera voice, super posh english accent, and sweeping away towards the cafeteria. leaving sam there smiling after her.
