The group worked harder and faster as the night approached them, the bus that they were to hide in was covered with thick metal sheets and the grass around the meat was laced with gasoline
Empty buckets and barrels had been placed around the perimeter of the bus for an extra layer of protection
Max and (y/n) had placed a ladder inside the bus, leading up to allow access to the roof
Everyone had agreed on thier roles of the evening, Lucas and Andy would be the lookout, Andy staying in the undercarriage of the bus and Lucas staying ontop of the roof
Dustin and Max were backups, some extra eyes on the other side of the bus in-case of a sneak attack although max wasn't entirely convinced that the 'demo-dogs' were real
And Steve and (y/n) would be the attackers, even though Steve insisted that he should do this alone, as he had fought one of these before.

As the night rolled in, the group were all sat in their assigned spaces, Lucas and Andy were currently chatting on the top of the bus, thier mumbled conversation echoed through to bus
I sat next to the only other girl there, max, who had already taken a particular liking to me, and me to her. She reminded me of myself, if I didn't have the assassin sewn into me
She looked at me quizzically as she saw Dustin pacing in front of us, and Steve simply flicking around his lighter, on and off, on and off
"Do you really believe all off this" max whispered to me causing me to run my head towards her "I mean, I could understand your friend going along with it, but your like a karate goddess" she exclaimed with a smile growing on her face
