You and Steve sat in the back of scoops, sitting in a comfortable silence as Steve paced the room, tossing his hat about in what seemed to be a nervous manner
"What's wrong?" You asked him with a slightly tilted head "still worried about those dates" you questioned with a slight smirk
"No..it's not about that but now that you bring it up, you can't disagree that this hat is blowing my best feature right?" He asked you, showing you his hair with the hat on and then without, and so forth
You looked to him confused as he shook his head "that's not the point, anyway I'm worried because Dustin was due to come back for camp today and he still hasn't come yet"
"It's only been a day." You spoke sincerely, offering Steve a small smile and kind eyes
"Well that's just one day too long, or maybe it's a good thing he hasn't stopped by yet lord knows he'd be drooling all over you again" Steve spoke with frustration laced into his tone rolling his eyes at the end of his statement
"Drooling...onto..m-me?" You questioned as you pointed towards yourself looking concerned
"It's a term you use for when someone has a crush on another and is like...totally obsessed with them" Steve nods to himself
As he spoke Steve had come and sat down next to you as you furrowed your eyebrows together
"Do you drool over me?" You questioned as you looked over towards him
Steve began to choke on air as you looked even more confused
"No!- I'm mean yes- i mean I-" Steve began to stutter as he backed away from you
"But me and you like eachother right?" You questioned as you got off the counter, beginning to look sad at the thought of Steve not liking you
"Yes of course I like you but just...well you don't like me in a romantic way and that's what the term is used to describe" Steve frantically explains as you Stand opposite him
"Oh..." you say
Steve looks more and more relaxed as you begin to sit down, he soon joins you by sitting own ontop of the tiny break-table
