Hearts and Sunsets

My eyes a stormy grey,
Yours are a cerulean blue;
You have your goals clear,
I search for a meaning to find.

Two wrongs never right,
I watched, you flew;
Red crossing black,
Card suits defined.

You deserve an apology,
I have an apology due;
I watch you, stupified,
A hundred thoughts in my mind.

And so I let go,
You said, "I will catch you"
Heartwarming eyes,
Meets mine well-timed.

Diamond and glass,
A crestfallen view ;
But when we're together,
A spell binds.

When your lips,
Met mine halfway through;
I smiled dazzed,
And let our fingers entwine.

'Cause even when our hearts,
Are colored in different hues;
When they blend together,
The sunsets pale behind.
