Resets after resets, I'll be waiting
'It wasn't supposed to turn out this way!'
Was what goes through your mind every, single, day.
You thought you can finally be free from the pain.
Free from this hell loop called life.
Free from all the mistakes you've done.
Can finally be at peace when you fall from the hole in the mountain.
But you didn't expect to get attached to the monsters here.
You had sworn to your life to never get attached to anyone ever again, let alone falling in love again in a loop like this.
Yet you can't help but fall in love to that lazy pile of bones, resets after resets.
And the fact that he's your Soulmate doesn't make this better for you at all.
"kid, you there? you're thinking pretty hard of something."
The voice of your Soulmate immediately brings you back to reality, making you blink as you realize he was standing in front of you.
"Oh! Sorry! Just get lost in mind. What were you saying?"
You said, smiling sheepishly at him as he let out a chuckle.
"heh, it's all good. i'm going to grillbs while papyrus is going to alphys. you good being alone in the house?"
He casually said, his eye lights watching your reaction carefully. You smile the best you can and nod at him.
"Mhm! Don't worry about me, I'm probably going to sleep all day, I'm still exhausted after yesterday."
You lied the best you could. Sure after cooking with Papyrus and Undyne yesterday was exhausting, but it honestly because of your thoughts from earlier.
"ok, take care of yourself then kiddo... 'cuz someone really cares about you."
He said before teleporting to Grillby, you guest.
"...No one cares about me Sans..."
You muttered after a while, standing up as you walk upstairs, feeling tears threatening to fall down from your eyes.
You finally got to do it.
You open the door to your room, locking it as soon as you get in.
No one can stop you know.
You sit down on the chair in front of your table.
You take out a book from your drawer, the book you found when you were exploring snowdin, opening it to a random page.
You began to write your last message.
You write your sorry to your friends, to your family, to your Soulmate.
You write of how grateful you were to be able to spend time with them, to be friends with them, to be a family to them.
You tell them how you've always felt, how you always felt that you're a burden to them, that you were always in the way to their freedom, that you're just wasting their time.
That you weren't good enough for Sans.
You felt something wet fall down to your cheek, going down to your chin, then fall to your lap.
