Chapter 9 Confessions

KG's POV,
Some months later,
I felt all kinds of emotions that day and it happened to be Penny's 16th birthday at the time

in all honesty my birthday past a while back and I already was 16 at this time but that didn't matter

at that point because today was about her and my feelings for her grew even the years we were

apart from each other I loved her for all I had and her parents even trust me with her because they

remembered me from when I was only a little boy
who wouldn't cause any harm to her and they

knew me too well that I will never hurt her and she was lovely to look at when she came out and

that dress and everything stop for me I was blushing so hard and I told Maya not to get

me ice water and pour on my head if that happens to me during the time of the party

Everyone knew besides Penny that I liked her so much and they're trying to get me to confess to

her And even her parents encouraged it we were so happy when she recovered from everything

And she and I remember everything in our past and everything else leading up to now I was

nervous about telling her how much I felt about her and I was shy to reveal it to her so much

But I needed to tell her how I feel sooner or later because the feeling was something I needed to

get off my chest and yeah I liked her since we were toddlers and now that we reconnected and

everything things were settling down and I need it to tell her before something else comes in the

way hopefully ain't that bad just to tell her or something At least that's what I thought and

I was still blushing looking straight at Penelope because I never seen her like this before

She was fine as hell and I was being honest with anything I have seen so far especially for her

But once the cake was brought out and it is time to sing happy birthday to her too I was smiling

And once everything was done I asked her if I could talk to her alone for a few minutes

And she agreed to it then we sat under a tree where her clubhouse is on top of the tree

Things were going the way it was planned and I needed to tell her the truth and it was now or

never I just wanted to let her know since I had this feeling since we were little kids back then

And that's when she spoke and I knew the time is now and I wasn't going to chicken out again

Penny: it's so pretty tonight and finally my dad lightens up on the rules a bit hehe

KG: well at least there's that it ain't gonna be so long now

Penny: thank you for sticking by me when everything was happening during that time

KG: it wasn't a problem and I knew something was up the way you were acting in the way he was treating you it wasn't right

Penny: I just didn't know what the time I guess or I guess I wasn't thinking

KG: how could you if you felt like it was no other choice end it ain't something that is so simple

Penny: yeah I guess you're right but anyways what did you want to talk about?

KG: well I-I um...*I blushed*

Penny: what's the matter KG?

KG: can you close your eyes please....

Penny: okay sure *she closed her eyes*

I was so nervous and hell this was very much new to me so I took the chance and kissed her

And she open her eyes briefly in shock but then she closed them again and kiss me back which

shocked and surprised me but I went with it and then we broke the kiss which left is both blushing

like crazy and then she hugged me which I was happy to return the hug and she was giggling as

well and I looked over to see your parents expressions and my sister smirking at me and I

was not amused with that expression from her face even Michael's expression wasn't something

I was looking forward to either but I tolerate both just for her and I remembered what her dad said

to me about her and I mouthed out I promise I will take care and look out for her like she

deserved and he was satisfied and happy and my pops and her mother were saying awes towards

our direction which I kept blushing in hiding my face from it and my dad and her dad were like

well that's a way to embarrass someone which her mother didn't take kindly to her father and

start letting his mother getting with her cane which he started to run and calling both Penny

and her mothers names to get them out of this but they didn't want to but I didn't blame them

Everyone started to laugh at that scene and spectacle which she looked over and saw

everything and she was pleased to see something worth wild and she said something to me after

which made me smile all the way through the night and that was worth it for me and her

Penny: i'm glad I found out your secret after all this time

KG: I couldn't figure out a way to tell you so I did it like that

Penny: well that's one surprise it was worth the wait ain't it?

KG: yeah it was I guess it turned out the way we both want it

Penny: Count on it and I love it

KG: so do I and I love you Penelope

Penny: I love you too Francis

and that's when we sealed it with a kiss again and after we broke it again our friends were happy for

us and so was my sister and glad someone has me around their finger which was true in this case

which I denied completely at least to her everyone start to laugh when I decide to chase

my sister for saying that and embarrassing me again which I saw Penny giggling which brought

a bit more happiness to me and worth the embarrassment but not enough for me to stop

chasing Maya which is why my dad told me to stop doing that and I stopped saying it wasn't fair

she had to embarrass me but lo and behold my pops decided to take her place and it was more

mortifying but Penny help me live through it
Hoping the future brings more to us than we

thought and we were in it for the long-haul
I just wanna see what happens next and our

relationship and hopefully things get better from here and that's what truly brings happiness

I'm just gonna have to wait and see...
