You went around to the side of the bed that Mary k was on and stroked her hair gently
She didn't open her eyes but you knew that she was awake by the brown she let out
"I'm leaving" you told her gently and she nodded as a way of acknowledgement
You leaned down to wrap your arms around her small frame
"Will you feed pudding before you leave?" you whispered planting a gentle kiss on her cheek
She nodded again. You could tell her was slipping back into sleep
